Thread: SL XP Question from a noob
I just became a SL novice and I’ve noticed that the SL XP isn’t really based on “leading” anything. Granted I didn’t read every post in every thread here, but I don’t see many SLs talking about this subject. The only info I found was in CaptainVemnox’s “SOE Squad Leader Correspondent Report”. There was a line in the report that said: “(5) The way Squad Leader XP is calculated has no relevance to what the Squad Leader is actually doing.”
Now I could be “leading” wrong but I noticed that it doesn’t matter how many ppl are in my group or how many or how difficult the MOBs/NPCs are that they destroy, you only get XP for how much damage you (the SL) have inflicted. I’ve even tried using the /sysgroup command to see if that helps XP. I've tried all sorts of experiments, but it's always the same XP. If there is a guide, thread or resource out there that explains how it’s calculated, then please point me to it. If that's how it really is, then here's my shout out to the Captain: "Please work on fixing SL XP!!"

As long as your the leader you will get SL xp, its based primarly on the damage u do plus how many people your are leading, from what i can tell 5 ppl in group = the same SL xp as your primary fighting xp (ie pistol)
The more people in the group the more xp you will get so if you had a 20 man group and u killed a newb critter by yourself you would get maybe 33 pistol xp but 120 SL xp (rough est.)

Thanks, but that was unneccessary.
