Squad Leader Archive

Now I have planed on being a SL long before this game even came out. Then i got to thinking, even after i am a Squad Leader i will still have alot of points left to use. At first I thought i would just boost up my combat. Then I started talking to someone and we came up with the idea of a SL/CH.

The more i think about it the better it seems. For one since your pets are in a group, even when you solo your abilities are being used. Also you need some of those skills anyways to be a Squad Leader.

What do you guys think?

That's actually what I'm doing now, I'm SL, CH and Pistoleer. Pistoleer is only for stopping shot. I'm going master CH and Master SL both, my pets are giving me SL XP when I kill stuff with then and it has come in handy. As long as I remind my friends to make me leader when we go out and kill stuff I usually get 1000+ SL XP with our pets out. Another good idea is if you and your friends run across any Jedi or Nightsisters (Dathomir) KILL THEM!!! Nightsisters give around 1500 -2500 XP per and Dark Jedi Knights give 3000. Considering the cap we have to hit in order to qualify for our first skill it comes in handy and the pets are a nice buffer between you and something that has a lightsaber.

I was doing this for a while, but I found it impossible to roleplay.

Maybe it works for your character, or (more probable) you don't really care that much about RPing. (Not knocking ya if ya don't- the game takes all types.)

But I do, and I just couldn't justify a cynical, loudmothed, bitter mon calamari that leads a ragtag army for freedom... and really loves taming rancors...

I was thinking that too, i am going BH to LLC4, CH to 4/4/2/2 and SL and Rangeras high as i can get it. The mix of a graul/rancor tanking, the LLC hitting for 3500-4000 with lightning shot 1, and theSL giving a bonus to the rest of my group all added with the nice camps to heal has become a force to be reckoned with.
