Right...?

The war with the Devs will be over by then, our profession will be allowed to go free from this tyranical lack of interest... We might actually be useful... right...?

Well, there is always hope... Lets continue waving at the void otherwise known as the Devs, and hopefully one day they'll wave back...

Lets get us working and useful... You know, I was tempted to write " Again, " but, we've always been like this, we weren't nerfed...

Im a master SL and a master pistoleer. I got no love for two profesions........ But you know I have to admit that the /group command temporarily disabled will help alot (sarcastic) oh and im very glad that the poor gimped BH profession got some love making there droids better and there missions easier, i mean we all know how long the BH has been suffering, right? Yea this patch was very anticipated but we not only didnt get anything but they nerfed us, sure it is a tiny nerf....... but taking away a penny from a person who only has 5 cents still just aint right.

I would never have considered this before....... I LOVE leading in a group and im good at it..... But i may surrender My sl skills so that I can do more for a group. I mean I think I could help a group out mroe as a commandoor BH or doctor then i can as a SL. Besides that I Have next to no money all the time...... no one tips a SL...... I am not worth much alone in combat, I cant make anything or sell anything. Hey im ultraristick as the next guy but im not helping those in my group all that much I mean its my real life leadership that makes the biggest diff not any of the gimped skillsI got as SL...... at least with another proffesion I could help more. Oh well ill give it one week if nothing happens im just gonna go for broke and give them all up.

Couldn't be more right with you Jutifulmars, happens the same to me, and it's not the SL prfession that helps me leading the groups, but my personal attitude, the only thing about it is tha it helps people listening to you, since they respect the title, eventhough it's useless. 2 Months of master in a useless profession are enough for me, even if I love leading partys, i guess i'll be fine even without my Master Squad Leader Title. As you said, the attitude, I'm becoming Doctor, that i consider much more useful in group than SL, who knows, maybe i'll repick it next month, if they finally come to fix it.

That's about all I'm giving it, at this point. This blatant neglect has been a grand 4-month waste of my time thus far. My hope and patience has fizzled into frustration and annoyance. It's quite aggravating, mind you, to work hours upon hours a week for free and not even receive verbal acknowledgement in return. My job, thus far, has simply been to take the brunt negativity from the community for them so they don't have to listen to it, basically.

...and I'm not talking about a whole new set of random ideas some programmer thought up (see: "response to Squad Leader issues" thread). I'm talking about a direct response to the community and ackowledging each idea, issue, etc.

November 1st, if not sooner, is my personal deadline. I sent the first report in July. Unanswered. I send the second report, a quite elaborate one I worked many many hours compiling in early September. Unanswered.

The saddest thing happened to me... One of my fellow guildmates asked me while we cruised Yaving-4, "So, not to be mean, but does Squad Leader do... Anything?". And well, considering what those skill points could be spent on, I really had to say, "no, not really...". I love the *idea* of squadleader, and if they ever make it worthwhile, I will probably go back to it. It's just as someone here once said, "I realized that I, the Squadleader, was the weakest member in the group...", really a shame.

Vem I know you can't go into much detail but as a Master SL and Master Pistoleer, I've had conversations with Jaegan and judging your responses here of late and their attitude and the attitude of other Correspondents like Jaegan I'm getting the feeling that the devs are in fact not giving you all the ear that they said they would. It seems most of you went into this expecting something more from them but are getting dissappointed and are trying hard to contain it. If that's the case why don't all of you begin to voice your frustrations together? I mean if they won't even listen to the people THEY put into positions to be heard, then how in God's name are they ever gonna listen to us? This is just ridiculous. I dunno what I'm really asking you here, but in any case I've observed you're not alone as a frustrated correspondent, and we really do appreciate what your are trying to do, even if the devs do not.

The correspondents are going off on them on the correspondent forums. They simply ignore or lock those threads.

then get together with ALL the correspondents and make 1 big thread on the main board stating why each of you are quitting.

all at once.

i havent logged on the game in about 3 weeks waiting for this publish and to see that absolutely NOTHING was done for my 2 professions. im quite sadened. i loved SL but now its either give it up or dont play the game.

think ill do both.
