Squad Leader Archive

Well I just made Novice Squad Leader. I have not had my experienceof leading a big group yet,but I am looking forward to it. However, it seems that after reading most of the posts here, being a SL isn't all that great. Exactly how often do you guys have problems in this profession? I've spoken with Wedge, a Master SL, and he said it's a job that can be very rewarding and fun. So what are exactly the pros and cons of being a SL?

I guess you're right. It's just that I was hoping for just an ounce of faith in the SL profession.
