Squad Leader Archive

Hey all you fellow Squad leaders out there. I was wracking my brain to find a possitive twist after our proffession was further shafted by the latest patch just when I thought, "It can only get better from here." Two things came to mind. The first was, "Well, /sysgroup's about the only thing that thay could break now." And the second was "At least they're not lying to us and telling us that they will pay any attention to us in the near future." I play a lot and it took me at least 24 straighthours to get my first two skills and the only difference I see in my squad's performance is I have a "rally" button on my tool bar that tells me I'm not the Leader of a squad that I formed. I personally think that this is a sly imperial tactic to throw me off track. Well it worked. I'm done wasting my time sinking XP into this broken tree without even a glimmer of hope on the horizon. I might be back when they fix it. To you loyal few who remain, I have respect for you. Well, respect and pity.

I'm out. I'm dumping SL skills (except the /sys command) once the server gets back up. I posted this on another thread, and am repeating myself, because it fits here to. I don't hold it against SL's for giving up, and seriously recommend using your skills elsewhere. /bye <sniff>

I've been a Commando/Squad Leader for a while now...and this last problem (rally not working) has made me pretty much useless (SL wise). Seriously, it is a waste of skill points. I had already decided to dump all my SL skills (and just keep the base novice for the /sys command), but came on here to see if I was overreacting... lol.... It is worse than I thought.

I had hoped to hear news of how /rally would be fixed soon (it really did help, especially solo), and I get crickets chirrping in the distance, instead of SOE devs taking this seriously.

I love the concept of SL, and my guild appreciates my leadership, but I simply can't justify wasting my skill points any longer.

To all you Squad Leaders out there (and I only know one other besides myself on Sunrunner), keep up the good fight....but I won't hold it against you if you dump it all and take up something else. Peace.
