Thread: Did SL xp get nerfed?

Before the patch it was rare that I ever received less than 15k of Squad Leader xp for anything, now the most I can get is slightly over 4k?

Dang, I only just now became and SL.


15k for everything would be great


The formula seems to be MyCombatXP x NumberofPeopleinGroup

just get in a large group of REAL people, you'll score MAD xp from things on dantooine


I fight all day on dantooine and score over a million xp in that one day


just tonight in the Force Crystal Cave I scored over 500k sl xp from FS npc's and I have a Screenshot of me gettin' 29988 SL xp from just one kill


and it wasn't even a 20 man team.


Just group up in large groups and kill things like janta or voritors, voritors are awesome for xp.

20k? Geez.


I got 10-15k each from 3 voritors in a 2-second period the other day on dantooine. That was sorta cool.


Also saw the SL xp from killing a Dark Jedi Master (uh, npc, of course). It was a small group so it wasn't that great. like 9k.

Its nothing near what it was before the patch for me, even in a large group I can't get more than 4kand change on voritors. Before the patch with a small group I could get more than that killing low level things.

Well **edit**. I guess that means I'd have mastered already if I started before the patch.

... Is anyone else greatly disturbed by this little thread?! WHAT THE HELL?! You guys are NOT Squad Leaders, we call you draftees... Our XP is WAY too high! WHAT OTHER PROFFESSION GETs 30K XP from ONE KILL?! HUH?! Tell me that?! Does this NOT look a like a BUG to you?

I got more than 100k from *one* kill: Dark Jedi Master! About 95000 from the first, 117000 from the second, was capped when we engaged the two subsequent ones, so I don't know...

yeah, I only got like 10k from killing a dark jedi master 2 days ago (8 person group)


So, yeah, it really sounds like the xp was (correctly) nerfed.

We engaged these Dark Jedi-Masters only yesterday - 11 people-group with pets (= 20 group members)...

Mille I met you in Coronet yesterday you trained me in Tactics 4 =].


The SL xp comes in plenty fast in a large group. If there are any future changes I would expect a nerf and it would be shameless to complain about it. It's hard to get a decent group going sometimes but with 5 or more in the party the xp rolls in just fine.
