I am going to be getting the guild together to do hunts . Wondering what are the SL favorite spots to get great XP.

The Tusken fort is good because it respawns real fast. IF you have scouts in the group, you might wanna try the Squill Caves on tatooine. Get 20 people in a group at either of those locations, and a Master Squad Leader, and you'll master in a number of hours.

Missions on Dantooine are also good XP (and good money).

I did guild hunts on Endor, Dantooine and Dathomir. Endor was just a pull missions and grind credits deal. But with Dantooine and Dathomir we didn't worry about anything and just went out crossing the worlds destroying what we can. We usually ran with groups of 10-15 not including pets. If you can get 2 doctors with plenty of revive kits then basically you can rule the wilds for a bit. Everytime we went out I was capping my XP.

The tusken fort and other popular hunting spots may actually be a poor choice for gathering xp. Simple reason is that there can only be one SL per group and when you get to these spots there is almost always a huge group already in place. If they have a SL you're out of luck and even if they don't some players will not relinquish control of the group to you no matter how much you explain to them that you will give everyone in the group bonuses. Your best bet is to get your own team, consisting of as many creature handlers as possible, using as many pets as possible, and just go romp on an advanced planet. Take missions, make money while you're at it. With the latest xp scheme for SL there is no obstacle to levelling except finding a sizeable group.

I had a hard time with a noob SL at Tuskin last night. we grouped together, agreeing to swap off. weel, after 5 mins, I made him leader, he wouldn't give it back. 10 mins later, he died, and everyone disbanded. and joined me. then they wouldn't go back to him after he cloned. :-D

Hunting Fambaa's on Endor. Raiding Fort Tusken with 10+ people. Tusken got me a lot of XP over the 3 hunting parties I took there. I spent around 4 hours each day there this last weekend and got almost all my level III and IV boxes. People would leave and more would come so I never ran out of group members. And because I organized the raid myself I didn't have to worry about other SL's wanting in.

I mastered squad leader in 2 days (Friday and Saturday) at the Tusken Fort. It was insane. I mean...no one should be able to master a profession in two days. And it's not like I played for10 hours each day either.

"Ironically, while researching this piece a representative from Sony asked us to keep in mind that many of the players complaining "weren't playing the class right," and that the class was designed as a solo experience. Such a comment is indicative of the original Ultima Online mistake: not realizing that once an MMO is released to the public, it no longer belongs to the developers, it belongs to the people paying $14.99 a month for the service."

Lately I've been running high lvl missions out of wayfar/tattoine with just myself, a friend, and our pets, and are cleaning up both in cash and in exp.

Im not trying to say the way XP is setup is perfect, But it matters where you go.

Do you realize how many tuskens your group must have killed while at the fort? haha, its crazy to think how many we killed in 4 hours. My group actually managed to clear out every tusken in the fort, but then they spawned like crazy 5 sec later of course. That was fun.

To get the XP for my last level IV skill I went to dantooine with some guild members. 8 started out hunting grauls and force sensitive jedi, around the 2-3 hour mark we were down to 2 players and myself and i had 30,000 XP to go. So it all depends on where you are. If your hunting out on the plains you not going to be in a fire fight every 10 seconds like you would at the tusken fort.

We would hunt Voritor's on Dantooine.

specifically: Voritor Hunters, they're the only ones who don't poison, and you get a good chunk of money if you get missions to get them.
