Am I considered a group of 1?

i.e. if soloing for some reason (i.e. middle of the night and everone else is asleep :-) would I get the passive benefits that SL gives ? or do I need to have at least one other in the group for it to work ?

apologies if this has been asked and asnwered before, but it is not in the FAQs ...

You dont get the passive bonuses if you're solo.

I usually group with a droid and let it stay in town when im "solo" hunting for example.

have been a Master SL for a couple of months.

seems that a group is a group, for passive bonuses. (person, faction troop, pet, droid)... dosent matter, as long as you're in a group....

does anyone know,in fact, if this is true? and if true, is it area-based, planet-based, or whole galaxy-based? (i.e. if I'm on Corellia and my group(y) is on Talus)...?
