Thread: Smuggleres get Faction bonuses, why don't Squad Leaders?

Never made much sense to my why a Smuggler gets reduced costs for faction perks, but it makes a lot of sense to me for Squad leaders, especially the overt ones. So why don't we? What do you guys think, should we get reduced costs for faction pets and bases?
It just seems to me the the concept of a squad leader is exactly what both sides would want, so I would think they would reduce the costs across the board for this profession.

A Squad Leader can make a rifleman with Explore III crawl at full speed. That's so worth it! Just to see that rifleman crawl around in joy...Makes all my spent skill points burn with fire as it brands my twisted ignored....errr, its a thing of beauty.

As a Smuggler I can tell you that the "Underworld" skill tree is the most useless tree we have. And as a Squad Leader I can tell you that the fact that we ENVY it is embarrassing. Heh.
Actually, the Devs are redoing Underworld completely, so Smugglers may not get those factional perks anymore.
