I'm trying to come up with a set of rules that I can email people before they join my group. I've been a squad leader for a few months now, but only hunt with friends because I have problems trusting some one I don't know joining my group. Be it they are an exp hog, or a ninja looter.
Any help is appreciated!

In general, emphasize the fact that you can and will kick them from your group if they do not follow your rules, whatever they may be.
And don't forget to actually kick them if they call your bluff

- No Ninja Looting
- No Group-Teffing (personal issue)
- No Solo actions
- No heroics
- No "Thinking"
- No "Smoking"
- No Discussion
Further rules to remind:
- There is only one person to give orders: ME!
- There is only one person who's wishes you'll follow: MINE!
- Your Asses are MINE!
- Do What i say, don't complain and you may come out of it alive!
Those are the most basic rules for a group.
If you need more specific ones, state a more specific question.

How doyou handle looting in groups ? Since there is always that chance you get that cool thing that everyone wants ?
Could carry a D20 and have everyone pick a number, or just go in order of the group window.
And how do you all handle the annoying guys who try to invite themselves into your group.
A while back, I had a guy who wanted to go along with my group on the corvette. Finally I got him to say all he wanted was a powerplant. Needless to say, we just used the ticket and left.

As for loot, you could just tell the group that you'll loot and divide it fairly (die?) among the group.
Because of the sys message you get when someone loots something, you'll know if they're breaking the rules and can kick them (out of your group :smileyvery-happy
