I know SL's don't have much love. So I had an idea that would make them much more useful. Any suggestions/comments would be awesome! We all know how much BS it is that CM's can area disease/poison a whole squad and docs can't heal everyone. So I think it'd be a great idea if SL's could heal their teams poison/disease. Any comments on this? Maybe we could get this in the game, if there's enough interest!

I'm a Rifleman/Fencer ATM. I've been that way since september and all I see are clones of me now a days. I don't like it, and would like to go SL and was thinking about skills that would make it more useful

There is NO reason why a Squad Leader should be able to heal poison or disease, much less area poison/disease. What skills does the Squad Leader possess that would warrant that. Docs have to have master medic. So what we are left with is either a combat medic with some leadership skills. Or a seasoned veteran with divine power from the gods. So since this game genre doesn't contain gods and priests. I suppose we are left with added skill points spent on mastering a prof that many may not want( I certainly don't). I'm sorry but it just makes no sense to me to give us that ability...

However having /formup get rid of intimidate as well as dizzy and stunned would be very cool

While we're at it give /rally the ability to make us immune or resistant to warcry and the like

Those are pretty decent Ideas Gando.


It really seems to make more sense that a SL could cure intimidate than a doctor with a pack.


Course the only time i've seen delay was in PvP and not everyone does that.

CMs or Docs should be made to cure disease and poison, not SL. SLs are supposed to be focused on combat tactics, not healing.

Theoretically a Squad leader should have the ability to remove all of the states not medically related such as intimidation and dizzyness, and not medical ones like disease bleeding and poison. A more squad leader like ability would be giving them the ability to boost stats like willpower and focus and i suppose mind if you want through a sort of /inspireregiment skill because your squad leader yelling at you to get yourself up and into battle would boost up your courage and concentration type things in battle. Also a Squad leader would be the guy to calm you down when the battle gets you out of control and you start "loosing your mind" meaning maybe give them mind healing ability and not the CM's who should theoretically have nothing to do with the mind other than poisoning it

I think that volley fire should work almost like Warcy in the way it should delay the target for maybe 5 seconds. However, to prevent delay spamming, a successful VF should delay the next Volleyfire by at leats 5 seconds as well.


Squad leaders also need some visual emotes!

I think that SL should be able to area heal Mind. You know a pep talk that boosts morale and provides courage. Keeps a person fighting after they should have been dead. Course if they got rid of mind as being targetable aswas rumored then it wouldnt be balanced. I do think they should be able to do group mind heals. Signifigant mind heals, not some piddly 50 points. And do they frequently enough to be of use. Even if this was a Master SL only ability, I think it would be a good thing.
