How do you get survival xp?

I can't seem to get a straight answer from the guides.

Actually you don't gain survival XP any more at all. With the CU the XP for scout 000x was changed to scouting XP.

Any test/guide which still referst to survival XP is from pre-CU times and thus can be considered outdated.

Anyways, if for grinding purposes scout XP is the better alternative than the old survival XP, you can earn it in an active way, just always harvest hide/bone/skin from any amimal you kill and you can gather it at an acceptable rate.

[The old survival XP was best gathered by making your own camp, going AFK for 15 minutes or so, then returning, remove the camp and make it new... and have a good book to read while doing that.]
