Thread: Question for Squad Leaders everywhere...
Ok, Form up says it will "cure" dizzy and stun if I am the leader of my group, however through minimal testing I have yet to see it work correctly.
1) Im a Master BH, and decided to go SL to get some defences and be a little more valuable to a group, and my group. So all I have is a Kaadu to group with during testing. I then have a TKM friend of mine dizzy me, i use the exact same command (/shout Regain your senses, we can take them troops...) syntax, case sensitive, everything. It doesn't fix it, so i figure i can heal only group members with this command, so i group my Kaadu mount, have him dizzy it and still nothing, have it stunned and nothing. Is this command totally useless?
2) I have Rally as well, as I decided to go 0034 in SL for the defenses. From reading this board, Rally doesn't work either, at this point I think I may be better off going with Pistoleer 0043 to get defences. Is Rally totally borked at this point?
Thanks for your help...
You can cure your own stun, though.
The situation with rally is a little complex, and it is up to you to decide how/if you want to use it.
1) The HAM costs are huge. My zabraki mind aches ofter useing it. That wouldn't be a big deal, if...
2) It fails a lot. I usually hit it one out of every three or four attempts, but missing eight or ten times in a row is not uncommon. It's difficult to string together eight or ten rally attempts without spice. I suggest Yarroc.
3) We're not quite shure what it does. It is my belief that it increases your defence modifier and, at the same time, decreases your chance of missing. It seams to me that I see less misses when I use it, but it mught just be my imagination.
Try it out for yourself. I've heard good stories about using it in conjunction with /steadyaim, especially with commandos grouped.

Like they said form up doesn't cure dizzy if your dizzied all ready.
It wont cure status on pets, NPC Pets think it does. I'm not sure though, as I don't use them.
Rally I think increases your success at attacking anddefence for roughly 1 minute. It fails A LOT, and will eat your Action and Mind up fast if you fail using it several times in a row.
SteadyAim works just like using the aim command that Marksman have, except it does it for the players and doesnt waster a combat round for them to aim and then attack. It works all the time. I use a macro for steadyaim and rally to be used one after the other. A nice piece to open up an something with, when the both work at the same time its really impressive. Oh a Rallied Graul is really something you want on your side in battle. hehe
Retreat is a skill that is rarely used from what i hear. But a great use for it, if your leading a group of TKA or just Melee Fighters in general use it as they charge there enemy. Think of it as a Charge instead of retreat command. Use it to rapidly close the distance between them and any enemy fighters. It works as a real short burstrun.
DONT use the BOOST MORAL command it spreads out the WOUNDS instead of the Damage that a group has. It really makes everyone mad, as the ones that have no wounds now have many wounds after you use it.
Well thats a quick break down of our skills so far. Hope this helps you out a bit in your upcoming battles.

Great Job guys, i've decided to stick with SL going the full 0034, for defenses, and I dont want to drop Master BH so thats all i can get. I like SL'sespecially for benifit to my groupin defenses, and bonuses. Ive been playingwith rally, and although it doesnt help any pet I have been in group with, i noticeI get hit for about 10 percent less damage when it sticks.
Hopefully they will make it similar to mask scent in success and failure rate. Butfrom here on out I'm on your side because now, its my side too. ![]()
