So I reached Master Squad Leader about 2 weeks ago and have been using it as much as possible since. While working up the tree I had would fail fairly often on Rallying the group or Ordering a Volley Fire. However, now that I am a Master SL, the failure rate has really not gotten any better and it's starting to get really frustrating. I SERIOUSLY FAIL HALF THE TIME. This has to be changed. It is the most frustrating thing ever to fail on Rally cause it uses a decently large amount of mind and action no matter if you fail or not. Failing on Volleyfires is ridiculous too. In PvE or hunting, failing on SL specials is not that big of a deal. But when doing PvP, a failure on Volleyfire is a huge deal. It is usually a heat of the moment special use when it is really needed.A Master Squad Leader should not fail in rallying the group or ordering a volley fire half the time. They should fail like 1/10th of the time, or maybe even less than that. I believe that Squad Leader is a good profession. It is not the strongest and it won't let you go around destroying everybody, but when there are evenly matched groups, the one with the Squad Leader at the helm will have an advantage. The Squad Leader plays this small role in a group of adding a small extra edge. If they fail at adding that edge all the time then what the hell are they good for. This needs to be the most important issue for Squad Leaders in upcoming patches. I miss with my T21 at point blank range with only being a novice Rifleman less often than I fail at rally or volley fire.

Perhaps it is merely coincidence.. but I've found substantially better success rates for RALLY when I'm engaged too. When I'm fighting, I fail about 30% of the time. If I'm not engaged at the moment, I fail 80% of the time.
Has anybody else seen a correlation? I wondered if it was an undocumented bonus to RALLY chance based on engaged status. Concepted by "Lead by Example".
I have yet to see any effects of the command however. So I've decreased usage. Especially after the Doctors started complaining about not being able to revive while it's active..
PS please for forgive me if this has been previously discussed, this is my first post on this forum, and I've only been reading for a couple of weeks.

There are a few hundred threads on this problem. It's nothing new.
