Thread: Former Master Squad Leader Vents
Here is a list of words I use to describe my feelings about the squad leader profession and feel free to add adjectives as you see fit
Useless
Boring
Lame
Dumb
Trivial
Demeaning
Wasteful
Submissive
Dissapointing
I wasted my first 3 months of the game questing for master SL in hopes that things would change, then I kept it for another couple of months after....and now I have quit. When I read the classes, I was so excited to be a miitary leader. I am the military leader of my PA and I consider this skill class a waste to my guild.
Please bring the adjectives and don't hesistate to be creative
You are the kind of person that makes SL look good and bad at the same time. Lets look at good first.
1. You were very dedicated to SL. You stayed long as a SL.
2. You got Master SL.
3. You helped your PA.
Now lets look at the bad.
1. You came here to demoralize SLs.
2. You came to the wrong forum (You should head to the forum inside your head, where no one can see your stupidity)
3. You insulted SL, which happends to be my favorite profession in the game.
4. You quit SL. Your PA will not have their defensive bonuses.
5.You made yourself look like a sucker, see #1.
6. You're requesting others to bring SL down. See #1
7. See next paragraph.
In conclusion, you utterly and totally suck. "Its better to keep your mouth closed and appear dumb, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt." You need to accept the fact that SL is worthless. If his post keeps one person from wasting their time with SL then it is worthwhile for everyone and anyone.
Why dont you come up with some nice numbers and bullets on why SOE and the Devs have shafted this profession since release.
SL is not worthless. It has just been ignored by the devs to a point that is rediculous. You wanted a list on why the devs ignored us? Read on.
1. Manpower. MMORPGs are usually understaffed. Don't tell me they aren't. The rumors about us having two dedicated programmers is bull, because we havn't had any changes.
2. For the few that have chosen SL, they could say "Hold on, just hold on, we're working on SL." And avoid requests and cries for help.
3. Adding new content. The devs were busy with player cities, mounts and vehicles.
4. Bigger customer base later on. If they leave the improvements till Christmas shopping (I know I'm doing mine now!), they can say on the box, "We just improved SL! Come and join us!"
Thats all I can think of now. And I do not admit that SL is worthless, will ever be worthless, or was worthless. If this post prevents someone from becoming a SL, that sucks. Why? Because the SL player base is a helluva lot better than you. From what I've seen, SLs are dedicated, hard working individuals who choose SL becuase they like helping people. Not shooting them down like you are.

HomersDonut, you are the biggest jerk I have ever seen. You don't even SOUND like a SL. Why? Because SLs have fifteen times your intelligence. Thank you very much for using real grammar (it IS spelled with ar), it really pisses me off when we get this AOL-speaker in here, who says "lol d00d r u doin huntz rofl." (Notice the comma goes INSIDE the speechmarks, even though an AOL-speaker wouldn't do that).
If, in fact, you ARE a SL,I feel sorry for the groups/PA that you lead, because you sound like a complete moron!
