Squad Leader Archive

Hi all, im having to master squad leader to start off my patch towards becoming a jedi.

At the moment im stuck on survival iii, foraging, deploying a camp, waiting for a while, disbanding, foraging over and over.

Can anyone give me tips on whats the best route to get squad leader xp, the location on the trainer on tatooine, and any better way to get up the survival ladder other than doing what im doing????

How many of these posts do we get a week? If you want to master squad leader then read through some of the other obviously titled "I am a holocronie" posts. There is nothing wrong withchasing jedi but the least you can do is do a little research on your own before coming to us with your problems.

But, for some help to you, to get your survival xp you want to get a group of people to sit in camp with you. The xp generates faster that way. Plus get three or four crafting tools and make the most complicated traps and camps that you can. Once it is in the hopper of one you move to the next. By the time the first one comes out you should be finished with the fourth. Then you just work down the line again. Easiest way to grind it out. Better yet, do it in practice mode for the bonus xp.

You can search the forums & the FAQ for most of these, but to recap:

1) Survival XP -- 2 methods:
a) Find a large group and sit in the camp for about 5-10 minutes, then pop up a new one (you get XP faster when people are healing in the camp)
b) Grind it - Grind out a few hundred camps in practice mode. (you get survival XP for crafting camps).
I don't think you get SL xp for foraging, but you will get a little extra for healing in your camp while you do it. If you get really bored, you can try Fishing. Fishing is a bit tough, but does yield Survival XP. More than camps, if you're good at it.

The SL trainer on Tat is in Bestine, behind one of the shuttleports in a small tent.

To level SL quick, get 20 players and go somewhere like the Squill Caves or the Tusken Fort (little hard since the last patch). Make sure you have a Master Squad Leader with you for training, and you should be able to master SL in a few hours.


And my last tip, never use /boostMorale if you have a medic/doctor in the group.

well im sorry but i didnt have time to look around the place, but if you lot find it that hard to treat people with a little bit of respect why not make a sticky thread with a link to the threads that have these aforementioned strategies to levelling quickly?

Not trying to be rude or disrepectful.

But there is an "Official Squad Leader FAQ v3.1" stickied at the top. And it even has a bullet "2.1 How do I get Squad Leader Experience?"

As for survival XP, as it's a Scout Skill you could try lookin in the Scout forum for more tips than you'll get here. I'm sure Scouts & Rangers know alot more about it.
