I've been a MSL for a few months now, and really enjoy it. I'ld been workin on leveling pistoleer when the xmas Holo's came out, and I drew Master Pikeman.
How much more nerfed can a player be? Anyway, I've been working the last week or so on leveling Polearms so I can get novice Pikeman. I've been awestruck at how often you miss with a polearm. I'm at -54 at 0, 3, and 5 m for christ's sake! You can visit the PIkeman forum to see I'm not the only one with this complaint.
Then I tried grouping with my kaadu mount and entering combat /rally'ed. I almost never miss! Has /rally been stealth-buffed? Or is it just that much more noticable with polearms? I've made it a new rule to only enter combat while /rally'ed, because of the HUGE improvement in accuracy I get. I must admit, the other polearm people I've grouped with in the last week or so have noticed similar improvements.

I have also found this to be true.At Novice Rifleman, I seem to miss, or have the creatures counter-attack 8/10 times. With Rally on, I miss/counter-attack 1/10 times. Not a stealth buff, just more noticed.

I disagree. Fight something more difficult and you'll see. Rally disables drag and rez. This is a huge hinderence when keeping people alive for the big kills.

Yeah, I know that.. But for pseudo-soloing (Just me & trusty Kaadu) it works pretty well.
I think that disabling drag is pretty stupid. Disabling rez I can live with, since it only lasts a minute. I don't really want people popping up and trying to get back into the fight right away (since they're "groggy" for 60 s anyway). When people die, if it's alot of them, then it's time to fall back, regroup, and come up with a new plan.
