Let me start by saying I am not a holoSquad...... I am looking into it, all I need to get is survival 4 at the moment.....but here is my question, I have looked at the other posts about grinding it out and such, and I understand the concept of going to Dath or wherever and getting a group, but what else can give me Sl xp? Is that the only way to do it?

If so that leads me to my next question, does the level of the SL effect the xp you get....I am assuming yes, but I have to ask, I kinda like to have my ducks in a row so to speak...... thanks for the help, and I hope to be one soon enough........

What I did was hunt on Lok /w my PA for about a week, I was in it for the combat xp (forgot I still had novice SL). When I reliezed I was getting 17k SL xp a kill (gurks, snorbals), instead of the 125 a kill /w my pets on Naboo, I decided to master it. Got commando ans master SL in one week

You don't need to hunt in a particular place to get Squad LeaderXP. You get SL XP when the following conditions are met:

1. You are the leader of a group of characters. They can be player-controlled, or NPCs (pets count).
2. Someone in your group gets some amount of Combat XP.

The more PLAYERS you have in your group, the more Combat XP will be generated for each kill, and the more SL XP you'll get. So the best way to get XP is to find a large group and Kill Big Things.

Places that are good to get SL xp:

Fort Tusken

Dantooine

Dathomir

Lok

Endor (I hear. Never been there.)

You don't need to kill krayts to get good xp. In fact, the quickest way to get xp that I have found is just to take missions with your group (besides Ft Tusken. It just rolls in there). With missions, you get just the right creature level that you can kill quickly, move on, and kill more, and not be docked xp. Plus, the creds are nice.

You can hunt pretty much anywhere and get good SL exp. Make sure to have a good sized group-- 7-12 members before you get your missions from a terminal. When the terminal sees that you are a big group it will give you bigger missions. I have hunted on Endor, and yes, the exp is good there. I have hunted around Naboo lately for bolle bols lairs (about 6500 credits per lair) and get about 6k-7k SL exp for each bolle bol and 13k-17k for each lair. I'm sure there are similar creatures on different planets that would be like bolle bols on Naboo. You will get more exp on Dantooine, Lok, Endor etc... but you can also get plenty of exp on the rest of the planets-- and you don't need all the buffs and stuff for the bolle bol type creatures.
