Honestly... what makes MSL/MCarb more of a support layout than MSL/MBH?

I dislike it very much if our profession is abused for the BH-Jedi huddle. But if a SL decides to pick up BH to improve his firepower, i really can't blame him. BH brings in some very effective combat abilities, a good deal of modifiers and some top quality weapons. Always welcome on my team as long as they have the discipline to work in group.

Currently i have carbines and probably will stick to them, but i really have to say, BH would be a more than adequate replacement... or rather, would probably be more valuable than the Carbineer. The only reasons i am not switching are crippleshot and that Carbineer is way more stylish while BH by now has "cheap" written all over the profession.

You men and your "eternal competition" mumbo jumbo...

Cant you ever learn that many people feel just fine about themselves without the needto "beat" others to prove who they are?

And if you yell at yourself every morning, you probably need therapy.

For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Now I have MSL and can actually contribute in a battle since pub 24. You know what? In solo fights I win some and I lose some. Most of the time Jedi can still beat me with MBH/MSL... so what is the complaint there?

Admitting that you are MBH/MSL kinda gave you away.

Gave him away for what?

You do not have that template if your intention is to use MSL to buff yourgroup. BH is not a support template.

Umm... I know Ash, he was an SL at one point pre-CU, and again right after the CU. From one of my discussions with him, he picked up BH post CU for the mods and because in his opinion it worked better as a Squad Leader typer character then Squad Leader did . Ashamon leads large numbers of Imperials in the GCW regularly in PvP on Kettemoor, but I have never once heard of him hunting Jedi (maybe he does and I just don't know, but I would be very willing to wager he doesn't) and he doesn't strike me as a solo player. BH may not be a support template, but it is a good leader template and PvP template.

Don't assume that just because someone is BH / MSL, that they intend to be a solo player anddo not intend to buff their group. The Player determines the Playstyle, the Template does not determine the Playstyle, the Template is merely a Tool to achieve Playstyle. BH / SLs have been around for awhile, there was even a few pre-CU (see Blackferne, the Marksman Corr).

I was a pve MBH/MPistoleer for 7 months, so I know they are out there. I just assume that isnt the most common use of BH.

Ohwell, I am sorry.

this may have already been said but ima not readin through all that whats different from a Dr buff I mean really if it was trully one on one shouldnt you not get those what about food guess the chefs are out might as well not have weaponsmiths and armorsmiths help too /shrug I personally dont care if SL buffs or not cause jedi have the same choice to get a SL buff

Docbuffs are steroids.
Squadleaderbuffs is another person telling you what to do.

you + sl = 2 people = more than one

Bounty Hunting is a solo deal. The very essence of Squad Leader is grouping and support. No need to hurt true Squad Leaders becouse BH's use SL as a tool for their own ends.

In the long term it might be best to kill the BH missions. They are a nerfing spiral that takes up too much resources that should have been spent on fixing other professions and it will never be fully balanced.

I see the logic in your post... however you're missing 1 of two, or possibly 2 of 2 things.

THIS IS A GAME - Therefore these things can exist beyond the bonds of common logic. You hold no arguement.
THIS IS A FICTIONAL WORLD - Who's to say yelling or cheering on doesn't give you strength in Star Wars! Where's Lucas?

You said jedi 5 times in your post, perhaps you should be writing in another forum.

Now that it's OK to support the removal of classes in your signature, I firmly support the removal of all the benny hill glowstick fanclub from the game; it was a lot more fun before they came.
