Normally I would also prefer Master Marksman, but due to FS I don't have that option. I always prefer to be able to use any kind of weapon, depending on the circumstance. I can shoot 65m, or use my Tchochtee pistol for close encounters. No healing ability, but combined with a medic I can stand up to anything near my level, leaving my squad free to shoot or punch as they please.

ah yes, my mistake. however, the build wont work; i could only get Pistoleer 0020 if i take FS boxes to complete The Village
MSL / BH 4444 / Pistoleer 0020/ 4 complete FS trees = 250 skill points
however, i could drop BH entierly to grab a master elite rangedinstead and still have 28 pts left over.
I'm running SL/CH. I'll post the full template soon, but its fun, even solo
hehe you thought it was impossible to spam retreat? add in TKM meditate between moves.... its the last real ranged/melee mix that works.
Also, has anyone seen what happens when you stack Rally + Improved center?? /drool
you also cant afford to be slowed by holding a ranged weapon when you are a SL, it lowers your potential dramatically, feel the power of a SL in hawt pants with +60 innate TK armor and you'll never give it up.
The devs know this guys, thats why they throw allll those ranged goodies at you SL's, they dont want you taking over!

Hehe, that build sounds like a lot of fun. I've been MSL/MCarbs/CM4000 for a very solid PVP build. I was going to try MSL/MBH but the lack of good energy resists for PVP killed that so I'm trading BH for MPistols while keeping CM4000 and even just part way through the move I had a blast PVP'ing tonight. Very nice defenses so far and having a hybrid Jedi/Rifleman back me up made things even better.
ok went all the way through that thread and im not giving up till i post. My temp atm is MPistols MSL with scout 0004, medic 4040 and novice doc and 2 FS skills for ranged accuracy. Im thinking of droping the Doc and medic completly to take another combat proff that deals more damage. Anyways thats what I am.
Edit---Just messed around on Allakhazam.com and think im going to take MBH and drop Doc medic and pistols ill go to 0404 with the last 4 sp going to FS
