Which is one reason I stopped logging into the forums for a while. Though sometimes it gets really hard.

As Drevin and Loki knows, due to mistakes in my life, I will be leaving the game for a while. I may be around until my account gets cancelled. I am not sure how long I will be gone, but I will be gone for a while. I need to change things in my life and I'm not sure what changes those will be. Everyone who's posted in this thread, I consider friends. I will try to get my **edit** together and come back to you all soon. Keep me in your thoughts that all work out for me so I can return soon.

Guys, you all noticed this is the only thread where only veteran forum squad leader post at least till this post?

I know all forum handles in this thread, while at the same time I never have seen so many "finally we got fixed" threads from ppl I never have seen posting ever before in the Squad leader forum.

With that said and having you all in one boat, I realy feel that some of us are loosing their patience with the wannabees around here, but I still would like to ask you all to keep a civil tone, even when the majority of them is realy realy annoying. They just dont know it better .

I wanted to remember that the Squad leader forum always was a civil and respectfull environment and you have to give respect to earn it, sometimes even if the target doesnt earn it, nor does anything to earn it. And even with that attitude form a lot of "new faces" around here, let us not fall into an elite attitude, where it is "we veterans" vs. the "newbies". Keep an open mind and an eye out for our new recruits, which we certainly will have and by giving a good example, as we always did, show them that leading means sacrifcying yourself and serving the group to achieve a greater goal, which could not be achieved alone.

I still read eveything here (as I do in the Carbineer Forum) but I dont see the need to "feed" a "mood" discussion, so I became a bit more quiet. Expect test data and as well issues from me here, when at the same time I expect some helping hands at the Star Wars Wiki Squad Leader .

I have no problem with new players, the part that gets to me is the ones that complain about nurf/ over powering. From what I've noticed with my skills, they don't come into affect until am around a group. I've tried activating them from a distance. but that doesn't work, Seems we got an aura affect. now THAT is a good idea.

Over all, I think we've been rather civil. Could be worse.

I chose mine new one for how I see Talley. As a military man, someone who is pure faction based. I'm a roleplayer too. I haven't gone so far as to not help out my imperial friends in character, my guild is Rebel, but I have a lot of friends in the parent guild which is now Imperial. So, of course I would help out my friends.

Yeah, I've been all three. Master Pistoleer, Master Carbineer, and now Master Rifles. I was looking to stay alive longer so I chose Rifleman. I was just to weak to last long. I had poor defense, poor offense and was always cloning or getting incapped, but since pub 24, I haven't had a real chance to test my sl abilities and see where I need to tweek it.

downfall i've felt with MSL/MRMis that i only really have 2 decent attacks for dmg...Adv sniper and adv headshot...which tends to limit dmg output in more drawnout fights and makes things monotonous. But hey i can beat up the enemy on an individual basis from 64m really good...

TBH if it wasn't for that massive damage single-strike and the hitting from 80m thing i'd probably take up carbineer for the versitility of attacks and overall functionality at multiple ranges.

yah, and when used right, Full auto and suppressionfire is shweeeeettt.. Tends to be the way I get a train of mobs attention. lately I've been the highest damage dealer, so gets the attention off the healer QUICK. down side is, if not used right , me or my group is on our back counting stars.

MSL, Mcarb with 0.0.0.4 pistols is my current template.Quite handy template. only down side is I have no medical what so ever so I rely on food/ ANY medics in my group.
