Unfortunately, no. VolleyFire does not change the group's target, it simply makes them fire 1 non-special shot at the designated target. Then they return to whoever they were fighting previously.

OH SNAP! i found a way to make SL useful!
You let SL use volley fire like a called target attack and ranged peeps get to use pecials them! brilliant, count it!

Except that Volleyfire forces every ranged prof in the game to fire a REGULAR attack (no specials) at the target. So you couldn't just spam Volleyfire and redirect all your groupmates' specials at that target. I think it just adds another item to the Combat Queue -- a regular, non-special attack.

Does Volleyfire perminently retarget for a group or is it just for one shot? Also, is the shot added to the combat que or is it extra?
Furthermore, how does range work? If someone is 100m from you, but 50m from the target, will they shoot it? What about 50m from you and 100m from the target?

just 1 shot. Not sure about the combat queue.
They have to be within the 65m range of the target to hit it, otherwise I believe they just miss.

What's the effective range on all our SL perks? Like, how far does a group member have to be away from me for the group melee defense passive buff, volleyfire, etc.to lose its effect?

Oops.. looks like I have my answer in another thread. Though it would be cool if you could revise your guide for us, Oberon

What is the timing on /steadyaim?
Does it last for one shot or 10 seconds or what?
Should I be spamming /steadyaim every second?

hey Oberon, one note on /sys it does not translate from space to ground or ground to space. Which means you actaully have to 'take off' to have fun with "/sys \#ffff00\ Alliance High Command has a mission of upmost urgency for you pilot..."
