Blixtev? Nope....he mentioned us once in a disussion on armor certs "as squad leaders are pretty rare."
JFreeman? Nope...he hasn't used the word Squad on the public boards
GreenMarine? Nope...same as JFreeman
SWG-Goliath? Nope...
Kylaena? Nope...
If I missed one, I appologize...the search feature on the forums isn't great by any means.
I realize that the devs are busy people and there is much to work on. That the more time they spend on the boards, the less time they have to code...but really.....nothing? They have nothing to say?
Soon, not even a rally call will be enough to boost moral.

I'm starting to think it's 'cause we smell funny, what with the scent masking, or can't be seen with the camo and all. Proof positive that our camo works against NPCs/PCs!!!
/salute to SLs while I'm here... hope y'all get some questions answered and issues on the table that actually get addressed.

I'm not here to thump chests and say we are worse off than you. I said that it had been a long while since we got communication fro the devs and smugglers thought they had it bad and you chose to take offense to that. Sorry. I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you.

Are you going to tell that to the smuggler community after we found outalmost "accidently" whats up with our "priority" revamp? I guess not.

Hey, you're the one who brought other professions into it. I simply said you needed to find a better profession to compare yourself too since it's been happening to both. If you want to mention Smuggler, then I'm well withing reason to post a response. If you notice, I have yet to say anything directly about Smuggler other than about the communication, which is what we're discussing.
There's nothing to sugarcoat by the way. You're not saying anything different from what I'm saying except you chose to compare things with what has gone on with Smugglers. You brought it up, not me man. And you are the one that took offense.
I can't believe you are here in the Squad Leader forums argueing that Smugglers have it worse than Squad Leaders. That saying that smugglers thought they had it bad was evil and wrong and not factual. Some of you smugglers jump on everything...even here..when Tiggs does finally give us SL an ounce of attention, Was it the BHs or the Jedi or the Rangers or the Dancers or the BEs posting in the 2 threads about their problems?! NO! It was smugglers! We SLs can't even have our own posts to talk about improving our profession without smugglers butting in about their problems.
Give us a break! We have heard about how bad you smugglers have it. Some of us used to be smugglers! But for once could you think about someone else? For once could you possibly accept that others might actually be worse of?

I have a Smuggler alt, too - and a Ranger, and a Bounty Hunter -but I don't whine about it here. Nor do I pollute other (public) forums with the plight of the lowly and forgotten Squad Leader. What we are experiencing today is the flip side of developer communication.
Every jackasswho sees any red name pop up in the "Dev Stalker"immediately takes any and every developer post to be a license andopen invitation to hijack the thread and start whining about whatever ails them at the present moment.I know this because I do it myself in the Correspondent forum.
So, be advised that any increased developeractivity inthis forum will necessarily bring with it the usualcoterie of crybabies, attention whores, and assorted hangers-on. While I welcome and embrace developer attention to our community's issues and concerns, personally, I prefer to keep the professional focus and low noise-to-signal ratio to which we have all grown accustomed.

History is a pain. The first time the smuggler revamp was delayed indefinitely they announced it to the smugglers. The Squad Leader revamp, then to be up on the block, was delayed and they didn't tell the SL. They left that up to irott to pry out of them when it was finally obvious and still they didn't make a public announcement.
So yeah, don't complain to us about the devs not telling the smuggs it was delayed. It happened to us first, after they did at least tell the smugglers.
And back to the point of this thread, why did you want dev attention anyway? Here they posted and nothing but flames, whines and history lessons ensued.
What you want is the devs to come in and post that the SL revamp is about to happen. You don't just want them to post. You don't want them to say "it isn't going to happen" either because then that's not really the truth and you just get to be upset about a lie.
