I've actually seen over twenty masterson Starsider. I'll never forget that one day when I saw6 or 7Master Squad Leaders TOGETHER in Coronet. That was freakish.

Scylla has many if you count those who picked up Novice SL so they could participate in the GCW. I'd estimate around 20 who actually have more than Novice, though.

I believe that I am the only current non-holo master on Chilastra. Please, someone prove me wrong.

Let me also say that I had a list of SLs on our server at one point. IG Elowa (I think) set it up. Every time I sent out tells for training, I had to take three-four people off of the list. Many others I didn't send tells to, because they were never online. I got my master training from a holojockie that dropped it ten minutes afterwords.

I only know of one other SL on Chilastra, and that is our esteemed collogue Irott. He has dropped some skills untill we get fixed (fixed isn't the right word, because we aren't broken. Just nearly useless. I mean, Chef was on the list, and we weren't...), so he wasn't able to train me.

I've been a squad leader since I first got it a few months ago. Twenty might be a good estimate for current, active SLs. Most of the SLs I see around are just hologrinders, one person offered me 500k to stay with him and train every SL skill so he could just grind the xp. *sigh* But I know a few that I see usually in starports and they have been good and not dropped it. I know I always see one on starports across the galaxy. Always cheer for him, good to see another SL.

Lots of covert SL out there. For instance, my most used title is "Novice Scout" followed by "novice medic." Haven't used a SL title in like...three months. Maybe more.

I am one of those people on that am not on to often because of a job and school. Heck there are also to many other great games out there to play. But i am a SL on Naritus! Glad to hear there are 7 wow!! I never would have guessed playing since 2 weeks after realese I have only seen 2 SL's one was a Hologrinder that i saw just last night.

Feels really cool to be one of a kind though but at the same time it feels strange

I've met one non-holo Master other than Myself on Ahazi, but I'm making converts!

Even after master, I spend time each day, taking a random hunting group out, and dispensing my own brand of leadership.

Here's a tip: when leading a "pick up" group be verbose. Rather than saying /sysgroup follow bob, try /sysgroup All units fall in behind bob and prepare to move out. You do this enough, and eventually, you'll begin to hear a chorus of "roger" after every order you cast. Gain the respect of your troops, and hence the right to lead them, whether your skills are broken or not.
