as far as im aware armor resistances do not change at all unless you happen to craft special protections into the armor

no matter what you did most Mando armor would still have these vulnerabilities making it useless for PvP

any race that doesnt have specific armor restrictions like trandoshan or wookie can wear the armor as long as they are one of the classes that can wear it which include

-Bounty Hunters (not sure if it is master or not)

-Master Squad Leader

-Master Ranger

-Master Commando

whoo ho for us Squad Leaders!!

I have to agree with Panzer on this, but not for the same reasons.

Just because Composite is gonna be nerfed doesn't mean that every other armor out there will /not/ be nerfed, including this armor. The logical way to look at it is that all other armors will be reduced equally when compaired to Composite. Otherwise I will get fitted up for some Ubesse with 65% Kinetic resistances that is still better than this armor and I will not have to risk life and limb to get it, nor need a buff to just put it on.

as an SL/rifleman, i'm rarely in the middle of the battle area. i keep back, perform my SL commands as i pick off the necessary opponents. if my battlefield effectiveness is reduced some by wearing this armor, so what! i'd rather be a little bit more vulnerable and wear the armor than be more protected wearing the same thing as everybody else.

...and i rarely pvp (on either character), there's so much more to the game than just beating other people up.

My group just made the first mando helm in Chilastra few days ago. Right now im a MBH, but planning on switching back to MSL again(had tons of fun with it when i mastered it the first time). We do the DWB nightly now and SL is actually pretty important there, so im remastering it.

And all of the mando pieces have the same stats.
