If you had two groups with everyone except for one being the same combat/combat support professions except one has a Squad Leader and the other has a different type of combat/combat support profession the party with the Squad Leader looses. The value added of the Squad Leader << than that of any other combat/combat support profession.
The party with the Squad Leader should win 50% of the time. It shouldn't have some big edge but it shouldn't have a big disadvantage either.

that was exactly my point, a SL should give a group a large advantige over a group that doesnt have one, currently we have nothing that does this, and most of our skills either do nothing or hurt our gorups more then they help
The squad leader need things that makes it unique. What it have is, as previously posted, useless things that can be found in other professions.
Suggestions,
1. Allow more factionpets.
Put a lvl on every faction pet and allow a certain ammount total lvls
2. Give faction pets special commands
The faction pets all have special titles with perks you have no control over. Give SL control and give the faction pets abilities that only SL can use
