This i was hoping would send a sys message in red to concentrate all fire on my target when i typed in/aaa but that isnt working properly i get a color change in my chat channels but no sys messages. What am i doing wrong?

Actually I should have responded to the original question last time, but was a bit rushed
why become a squad leader?
because I had this dream of playing a character in the Star Wars Galaxy. He would be an upstanding Imperial Officer, firm but fair. A great leader of men. He would know his profession and how best to deal with his adversaries. He would lead great fathoms of troops into battle and to victory for the Empire.
But then I met PvP

Just another posting (as it seems) asking "should I be SL now or wait till it's cool?"... take the professions you WANT and LIKE and don't ask how powerful they are, this is no action game where you choose the best guy with the biggest weapon.
A serious leader knows why he would pick SL and their answer would not answer your question at all.
Unless I misunderstood you, of course.

You misunderstood, the reason for me asking. I wanted to become squad leader four months ago, and had all the skill ready for it but survival 4. Then i learned i couldnt do it and be a master doc. So i dropped my skills. Now im tired and weary of healing people and have returned to do what I wanted to a long time ago. And so far I have thoroughly enjoyed it. My system messages work fine and I can't wait to get my first real beneficial skill.
I learned I spent more time in pa hunts teaching people relatively new to the game how to fight, how to react in combat. And slowly im turning our pa into a more organized fighting group by just helping newer people and slapping the older ones upside the head. And currently i consider myself to be training 4 possible members that are brand new to the game. So squad leader has been in my blood, Its skills help in assisting my group, and allow me to direct my recruits.
