Thread: Date for Squad Leader Revamp

As of right now, the ranger professions is working. What else could you do to enhance it anyway? The only thing comes to mind is more useless tents or the ablity to harvest more

I'm not a squad leader, nor have I ever been one, prob never will be, i'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to sqeeze commando,rifleman,scout,smuggler,and medic into one template.
But for the love of all things Holy, how can a COMBAT LEADER not be included in the main CU? SL is, or should be an intergral part of combat. How can you balance proffesions, and NOT take into account the benifits of a MSL? That's how we got into this whole mess anyway, not looking at the big picture and how every part drastically changes the whole.
The cynical part of me says that its because a MSL primarily beinifits ranged players, and that is why squad leaders are not included in the main CU. Someone either please put me out of my misery, or tell me I'm wrong.

You may not want to be those professions anymore after the CU...

Squad Leaders are included in the CU, but our revamp is afterwards. What does this mean? Simple. All the extra stuff... the bells and whistles are being put in during the revamp. Its just the same as smugglers. They are getting work done in the CU but they are getting a revamp afterwards to add even more to them.

Things are changing so much you will not recognize combat afterwards. Everything will make sense.

I don't know exactly what you mean by this. Squad Leaders benefit both Melee and Ranged profs equally. Sure, Steady Aim and Volley Fire are geared towards ranged profs, but Terrain Negotiation is definetely a higher priority for Melee profs than it is for Ranged profs. And Retreat, Form Up, and the melee/ranged defense bonuses are equally beneficial for both in my opinion.
What's lacking for Melee that you see that should be added?
