I love being a leader, and i love the sys command. As lame as it may seem I use the sys command for all my orders and it comes in very clear to my groupies. Plans seem to work well and contigency plans too. I guess it takes certain people to be able to handle this broken profession but, after looking over the updates they want for SL im holding onto all my SL points till they update it. Don't wanna waste any.

They need to fix how we gain xp though. It shouldn't be on how much damage we deal to the target(s). It should be how much dmg the group does multiplied by the number of members in the group divided by two. I think that would promote larger groups and reward the SL for handling all of them.

Squad Leader is all about hope, there is simply now way to validate the points spent in Squad leader class right now. They are completely worthless. And its sad to say but points spent anywhere else besides the SL proffession actually will improve your value to a group ten times more than in the SL tree. People lose jope when DEV's say stupid things like "smugglers needing the most attetion".

It really doesnt start yo burn you until you start running out of skill points. Thats when you start thinking about surrendering those SL points. Becuase gaining SL skills is useless, and you can get rid of those points and actually improve your character in another profession.

I had 30 points held back to finish mastery in SL profession, I finally started using those on med skills and pistol skills...temporarily. But now I face a problem, I will soon be forced to surrender skills that are very good for skills that are completely useless. With every advance in SL my character overall becomes more gimped as I trade good skills for SL skills.

All of this is starting to make me bitter, they should have already made fixes to this profession long ago. But yet we still wait...and when they do make the fixes I'm almost certain they will be inadequate and totally off target.

I gave up Master Squad Leader 2 days ago in favor of medic... I'm now a Novice Doctor and I'm soooo much more useful to my guild and the GCW in general.

I gave up leveling up in squad leader, I'm not ready to surrender the class as I still have hope, and sysgroup still comes in handy every once in a while, I just earned the tactics branch and moblity 1. I'll look into other professions now. but I'm in no hurry to earn master squad leader at all.

Maybe Lowca is very very different from all of the other servers, but people are constantly asking if they can be in my group. Note the important turn there - not inviting me to be in their group, but asking to be in mine, even when I'm solo and don't have the little heads next to my name.

I love that. My title implies that I know what I'm doing, and I do. I like Street Cred. I like that my reputation as both a PvE and GCW team leader has spread.

I dig it, I dig it, I dig it. I'm sorry for those of you who don't enjoy it as much as I do, and I don't hold that against you, because it would certainly be unfair of me to want people to not have fun, but I have silly mad fun.

Man i dont know about u guys

SL rocks. I been SL for some time now, actually 3 boxes away from master, and everyone looks to me forhunts or raids. When in a big group they follow me, when there is confusion they ask me.I get alot, i mean alot of respect from people cause they know the key word here is LEADER. and thats what i am. even if it is a broken proffesion (im sure it will be fix someday. i dont know bout u guys i like the road to amaster proffesion not the end result of it) it gives me a ton of respect.

Tell me jumpmen...if you gave up SL completely...would they still ask you to lead? yes. A clue...it isn't the class they are following.

Heh, even tho it was beta, how about the "Miner" profession?

I don't blame this guy, I gave up on SL awhile ago... it was more fun in beta when groups were worth something, but even THEN, it wasn't worth spending more than a few boxes on. Sorry to say this, but anyone who mastered SL has compeletely wasted a load of skill points.

They need to seriously rework this class sooner than later. Right now every other combat-aligned elite profession is well worth the skill points compared to SL. There's some cool things in SL, but its not worth spending the points on right now.

It technically wasn't removed, it was merged into other trees. As was the farmer.

If they are strangers who only know him from the title when they see him, I doubt it. I think that's what he's talking about.
