I'm reading some of the new Scout and patch notes coming out soon now, and these are great, so I think there's really a lot of hope.

Of course you all know by now all Correspondents are strictly forbidden to disclose any spefic details we get from the Dev's (or from anyone at SOE for that matter). Key to this, though, is I have so razor-sharp details yet ... but I will say this much as a hopeful act of encouragement to prevent more "I'm dropping Squad Leader posts". The pot is most definently stirring .. there is a LOT in the works all together for all classes and general game content. Some of the things that are nearly written in stone will alleviate so many problems with so many classes, and you can bet your Squad Leader is on the list. There are literally hundreds of ideas floating around for things and the dust will settle soon. No, I do not know what one's are being chosen, but just from the general jist I'm getting, things are shaping up to be quite excellent. And if you know me, you know I'm quite critical, so for me to say something like that, it must be good. I'll keep you posted up-to-the-minute on all concurrent details.

no offense capt, but this is a depressing trend in mmpog's lately...

grab a player who will act as 'correspondent' or 'team leader' that reports to the devs the issues and suggestions...

which the devs repeatedly and constantly ignore, half-arse implement or just plain do something completely different and to boot sometimes even post on the class forums and show their blithering ignorance on the playability of the class itself (hence why theres even a correspondent 'position').

Here ye come saying 'see! the devs told me big things are coming!'

and nothing will happen for endless months, and when a patch suddenly does address the class, it usually is, as i said above, a half arsed fix.

Just look at commandos. of 4 tree lines, 3 were broken. 1 patch makes 2 of the 4 tree lines be viable, but completely ignore the other 2. It will be the same for the SL and any other classes they are addressing.

Depressing, but true.

OTH, thnx for keeping us informed.

'Foolish boy. Don't you know anything about Fantasia? It's the world of human fantasy. Every part, every creature of it, is a piece of the dreams and hopes of mankind. Therefor, it has no boundaries.'
'But why is Fantasia dying then?'
'Because people have begun to loose their hopes and forget their dreams. So the nothing grows stronger. It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair, destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.'
'But why?'
'Because people who have no hopes are easy to control. And whoever has control has the power'

No offense Capt.V, but I'll believe it when I see it.

It was a month ago when Holo last posted that we will be seing a post about SL changes "soon". They still haven't officially replied that they've received or read your report from two weeks ago.

This gives me reason to be doubtful.

Ok would you rather me not post anything at all? Because then if I do that people would say I wasn't giving you enough information.

CaptainVemnox keep it up man! of all the boards I troll, you are the best spondant of all the boards I read man. You actually give me hope for the profession and it is obvious you care.

Hell, you've given me enough enthusiasim to open my two threads on figguring out what other profs would combine with SL the best, and the one to figgure out what wep would be best for SL.
