But I am upset about the idea how ranged users are being dominated because of several factors.
-Once a melee user is in 30 meters of you, they can lunge you and you basically don't have a chance, which really isn't right because 30 meters is a long distance in real life. At best they should only be effect in 1-3 meters. not the 30 meter punches and kicks that we see in the game right now. Melee should simply suck. Not the other way around.
To put this in a real life prospective.
We see Soldiers today armed with Guns, only thing remotely that they used is the bayonet and that really isn't for stabbing soldiers, it's more of a soldier's tool in the battlefield.
If you were to tell a General to arm his men with no weapons or swords, he would laugh

Yes but you must realize that all aspects of Starwars comes from Real Life aside from Force powers and light sabers.
Otherwise we will be seeing unicorns, Elfs, Orcs, Faries, fireballs getting thrown around. SWG is in a area where the player thinks it's set in the future but really it's a middle earth in duiguise

Yes, SWG is based in reality, but it's still a game. It is clearly not held to reality, as is evedent with the case of the TKA. Yes, a TKA should be just as good as a ranged weapons user, just different, and I think that's what we'll see with the combat balance.
Is there anythingleft to discuss about this?

yes. Bruce Lee was obviously a warcry exploiter.

Oh yeah, and Chuck Norris was crying nerf until he decided to change his template to Master Pistoleer with the BH Investigation tree for "Walker, Texas Ranger".

do u no where i can get a 1337 unicorn w/ a sliced horn (dmg not spd plz)?
The Melee professions have to have a range beyond 1-3 meters because otherwise they would be so gimped a novice marksman could take down a TKM just by kiting him long enough. IIRC their range increases with their skill. The key is to stay around 25+ meters away from melee professions and use whatever posture downs you have to keep your distance, also get a tank of your own to help molify them.
What you want to see more of as a SL is a well balanced group. I like to run with a swordsman or two, a rifleman or two a couple TKAs and a carbineer.
Swordsman+tka can warcry and use knockdowns, swords and rifleman pound the mind, carbineer has good AoE knockdowns too.

No it should be 1-3 meters, Jedi are like that. They don't get the insane magical hitting range. What is the point of going range when TK is already ranged?

I like to think of melee as very bad fake fighting. You pretend to punch the person 30 meters away and they go "oof!"
