I personally would like to see the survival tree stay, just because how long it took me to grind it out so that I could get SL I would be extremely ticked if some punk could get SL in like a day, cause everything else is a breeze just Survival is challenge. I remember constantly making prototype camps until I had Survival 4, I can't count the weekends wasted onto getting just that one tree mastered.

one thing that i, personally, don't like to seeis people saying "i don't want to see it get easier, because i had to grind through it and i didn't like it. so i hope that anybody after me has to grind it and not like it just like i did." personally, i'd like to see most decisions regarding any profession met with common sense. for example:

a squad leader needs the exploration tree because he would use _____ skills while leading a group.

a squad leader would not need the survival tree because the skills in it don't apply to leading because ______.

just little bit of logic and reason to make changes instead of maintaining a long line of pain and suffering.

I used to be a SL and I loved it. However, i dropped it because it tied up way to many skill points and I couldn't master anymelee professions as a Master SL. I would consider going back to SL if the scouting prerequisite was dropped, because that would enable me to master a melee profession as well.

With regards to the camping,I don't think thatit is the SL's duty to set up a camp. I think it is the Rangers duty. That is why they get to cool camps.

Some people said

Bounty hunters needed camps.. blah blah blah... really. Just having scout alone is bascily all we need. We aren't living in the woods for years like rangers, we're just pitching a tent for the night. nothing more.

The camping preq has to go. I could use the extra SP for bounty hunter

I'd rather be a Squad Leader with fortifications and the survival line than one without an "BH" or some other wussy profession. Real men go all out SL!

Guess no one get the good reason for the survival line. Now here is how you should see this.

The survival line, as the bonus to let you make camp but it is call SURVIVAL. It doesn't only have the camp, it have the foraging. Now you might say, foraging is useles. Maybe but isn't a Squad leader should be able to provide food to his team and actually know how to survive in the wild if they are going to attack base that are 5 -6 or 7 days of walk ? Just think of it, in Star wars, there is the imperials that have their vehicule and all and the rebel who can't have everything they would like. Both faction won,t travel for days on their vehicule without sleeping or getting some rest. If they get attacked or they are hunting some big beast, they'll have to set up a camp if they get hurt. They need a camp as well to hit and get rest. Now there is the ranger.... When you go to attack somewhere you don,t always bring a ranger with you nor you'll have lots of vehicule if you do secret operation (nto a full scale war) especially if you are rebel. Hope that set the point up for this one

As for the Bounty Hunter. Why haveing the survival line, simple, you are hunting target that might know you are after them. You aren't actually always sure of what will attack you when you'll find the target. You mgiht as well be out in the wild for many many day to hunt it down. Now where do you sleep if you are out in the wild? In a camp you made because BH are most of the time lonely hunter. Sleeping in a tree is no good since you have so many weapon and all... With a camp you can settle protection to be sure you wouldn,t get hurt by wild beast or to afraid them

AS now with teh revamp, why is there only SL that should get fortification if ever teh dev give us that. It's quite Simple. SL take office of commander on a battle field. A commander must have a place to coordinate attack and follow the situation. They do this in a camp they establish that they must fortified to avoid getting killed. They also meet people there to give order and they will usually launch attack from there. Now a SL without a fortified camp get it quite difficult to make sure everything is alright. They get targeted, and they die quite fast when it is needed that they stay alive.

Also more then this, a Squad leader shouldn't be authorized to get a combat profession. they ain't there to fight but to lead the group to victory. If they fight, they can die and they won,t be able to help out with good tactics and support. If the SL stay out of the fight, he get a better view of what is happening. Thats also a reason to permit to have a full group of 20 people and not counting the SL in (that would make 21 with the SL). Why well, the SL will only provide the tactics and is coordination. He need to be near but not that much and a SL should be able to lead 20 person instead of 19 like others since he is formed to do that.

And i'll answer anything concerning the answer i made here that have argument.
