Good choice in my opinion. Just make sure you're always buffed, as Carbine HAM costs will eat you up if you aren't.

What HAM costs? Or do you mean unbuffed HAM costs?

Why do you say that? Carb specials rock. Area ranged KD, Area ranged Dizzy/Stun/Blind, Crippling Shot (x5 damage multiplier), Area ranged Posture Down. No other profs have stuff like that.

If you want to play as a group support role take carbines since its massive crowd control. When you rally, use steady aim then charge shot 2 it can be pretty devasting. I'm master marksman, master carbineer, master squad leader and working on getting the 4 boxes of force ranged weapon speed. Hopefully when the CURB hits this combination will be a well rounded template that doesn't have severe strengths or weaknesses, just support.

No speed to fire your weapons with, low accuracy, no defense mods. I don't think you'd last five minutes in a pitched PvP battle.

I have to say I'm enjoying TKM/SL even though getting dizzied is more common
