Thread: Intimidator Pistol and MSL
"A guildie made me an intimidator and it had 465 DPS. She rocks. "
That's the modified DPS right?
I'm a 12 point master weaponsmith, and using the best resources the Intimidator turns out 290 dps using post-curb crafted components. If I use my old coverted components (which are better) I get it up to around 310 dps. These are the Base DPS, which when modified (that is, held by a player with skills) would be around 465 dps.

The Intimidator is a great weapon to have in your arsenal for when you encounter Recon armour'd oponents. The pistol does Kinetic damage which is a weakness for Recon based armours. Between the EP-5 which does Energy and the Intimidator we have a well rounded selection.
The Intimidator is good if you have good pistol mods or the mainstay of your mods are general ranged. My Intimidator and T21 have almost identical base DPS 305 (yeah, I was amazed to realize my Intim was that nice last night, hehe)... but with mods, my Intim weighs in at 409 and my T21 at 505. 100 dps more, and just as fast... I've got no plans to use the Intimidator for anything serious, just goofing off and RP.
Zade, have you noticed an explosion of MSLs on Kettemoor? I feel like my prof has become a FOTM.
I'm at 1.1 modified speed, 509 modified dps on my intimidator, it's not even krayt as far as I know... ![]()
(and no, it doesn't have a pup on it) Go on, guess my template!

I've been told the Intimidator can't be krayt enhanced
Correct on the Gorax bone shards.
I picked up a Gorax Int. Pistol, and being a M.SL and a M.Carb with marksman 0,4,4,4 it does 482 DPS, unpuped, and I don't recall the speed off hand.
Yup, I noticed that too. Most of them are Master Squad Leaders as well. I'm thinking that they are just respecs to try out the EP-5 and the Intimidator pistol. I'm expecting that they will respec back after they've done their testing. Previous to the CU finding another SL was like finding a needle in a hay stack, now it's more like finding hay in a needlestack...

Is hay a common thing to find in a needlestack?
Not really... but had to come up with something that was a turnaround... how about finding needles in a needstack... that may work better....
