keep in there sheus, i do have some words of encouragement. It would be seriously hard to ruin our class more than it already is, lol. I mean what could they nerf? Take away steady aim or retreat. If i can ever get retreat off, usually most of the squad is probably dead already. I think that we are going to have our patch soon.

Someone go to the Commando board and tell the Devs that the switch is /removeignore Squad Leader. They can't seem to hear us over here. Hello? We have less than a month til your next patch. Didn't you want another monthly report from us? Hello!?! I'm sorry, they just can't hear us. How about a "your report has been delayed" post?

As someone else stated, almost everything you mention that is "good" about squad leader has nothing to do with the profession, and can be achieved by a Master Chef; Except for the fact that you like to use /sysgroup. First off, in my personal experience, I really dontfind /sysgroupto be all that effective. I've had more people miss commands during battle when I used /sysgroupthan when I use /g to talk to them.At least /g shows up in a different color in the chat window, whereas /sysg sometimes blends in with the other system messages that many people often ignore. But thats just my oppinion. Ido see that it could be useful insituations. But even if I am underestimating the effectiveness of /sysg,the only feature of SL that you care about you get at novice SL. You, like many of us, like the "idea" of Squad leader because we like to lead and organize groups. We can do that with or without the actual profession of SL, but ifa SL profession is going to be in the game, than it should definitelyprovide us with better toolsto use as we lead. As if stands now,the betterleader is the one who isa good natural leader and spent his points in a useful tree, rather than the onewho is a good natural leader and wasted points in Squad Leader (including myself).

The trick with /sysgroup (which is the only thing useful about SL profession IMHO!) is to spam it 3 times, just like a server message.

Squad Leader Soren d'Vinn says: FALL BACK TO MY POSITION
Squad Leader Soren d'Vinn says: FALL BACK TO MY POSITION
Squad Leader Soren d'Vinn says: FALL BACK TO MY POSITION

Squad Leader Soren d'Vinn says: FULL POWER ATTACK ON LAIR NOW!
Squad Leader Soren d'Vinn says: FULL POWER ATTACK ON LAIR NOW!
Squad Leader Soren d'Vinn says: FULL POWER ATTACK ON LAIR NOW!

It's very effective for timing and much more noticable than /GroupChat junk.

Personally, I think /sysgroup should be available to any group leader.. but then who would train Squad Leader?!

Well, I am a new Squad Leader fresh from the Commando fiasco. I see I didn't chose vry wisely this time either. Heh heh.

I am doing this mainly for my PA. I haven't experienced any of the problems yet but I do notice that we have few directly useful skills.

Heh. I'm doing both. Squad Leader and Commando. Should be interestingly entertaining I think.
