I agree wholeheartedly on the skill failure rate/HAM/usefulness issue. There's another thread regarding this issue that I talked about, the title of that thread is "600".
As far as leading a group with another profession....I've done that before I became a squad leader. What I noticed tho was that people tend Not to listen as much because I_think to them, you're just another fighter with a pink name. It probably has to do with the psyche of the players more than anything, given how SL is useless right now other than the /sysgroup command.

I suppose we can all agree that SL needs to have their skills fixed, or add new skills and remove the old ones altogether...or something.
Was re-reading thru the thread and noticed about the group terrain negotiation thing...does it stack with your own terrain negotiation? +80 total (including scout) or +40 separate?
