Thread: all SL are sl/CH/pistoleer and what bout macros
I was a Swordsman/SL for a couple months. Heck, I put more effort into leveling Squad Leader than Swordsman...then I realized that I never used any of the SL prerequisites, besides exploration. I figured I would let the marksmen in my guild be Squad Leaders, and work on making the best possible melee character.
Commando 0 0 4 0
Creature Handler 3 2 0 0
Squad Leader 1 4 0 0
Novice medic
I can take down a npc AT-ST solo.
Ack i fall into 2/3 the category
SL : 2/3/2/2 (almost 2/3/3/2)
Carbineer 4/0/0/0
Master CH
Recently ive been debating dropping CH for something more hard hitting. Was thinking BH 0/0/0/4 just for LLC
Well, if you're not leading a group of people around and you still want to be a Squad Leader, it's a decently powerful solo combo. Send in the pet as a tank, let it draw all the aggro, then plink away with pistol. You'd never take my pistols or grauls away from me!

Welll, I am a master squad leader/ master rifleman.
i like being towars the back and having a full view of all that is going on in the bttle. using overhead it helps me to coordinate my squads better.
Ditto... SL/Rifleman here for the same reasons (though currently on leave till notification of something happening for SL down the road... havent logged for 2 weeks, and won't till something is at least officially announced... if it takes too long I will just cancel *sigh*)
I really like the alias:
/alias rr /sys \#FF0000\
...but is there a way to put this into a macro, bind it to a key, and put it on a toolbar? It's bothersome to have to type it into the console each time I start SWG.
I suppose the answer is Yes, of course - but my problem is this: I can't type backslash in the macro-edit box. I can type it quite alright in the usual chat-console, but NOT in the macro-edit box..??
