Thread: I just Mastered Squad Leader!!!...
Someone posted at one time that the defence bonus was equivalent to being hit 10% less. So if you're squad is attacking chubas, then it will take a little longer for them to die.
If you are attacking large creatures, 10% reduced hit chance means dying 10% less.
The active commands (such as /rally) also work, but again it's difficult to tell.
/boostmorale definitely works, and it evens out the wounds of all PCs (not pets).

Psh, while you're at it, save your skill points. You can't get a worse payoff for the investment if you tried. Heck, even blowing everything on all the novice professions would be better. You could heal damage and any type of wound (Including mind wounds), harvest creature resources, and survey and sample the rest of the resources, among half a dozen other minor abilities.
All that stuff together actually sounds better to me than MSL.

neway, i looked around the boards, everyone would jsut say tis broken, and like i said, i never knew if they worked or not....
rally, didn't know if it increased bonus or just gave me a flag next to my name...
Steady Aim, same thing (- Flag)
Boost morale, actually, i did know this worked
Retreat, group said ti worked for 10 seconds
Volley fire, did notice an icnrease of attakcs towards the enemy, but not always
Form up, noticed it did work on Dizzy, maybe not stun...
seriously though, i saw these worked, and wondered why everyone said they are broken... did they mean it was so little effect, its not worth it? did the burst run and defens stuff work? or no? do these commands work all the time? or just once and a while... THATS what i was asking, i'm not some mathemetician who knows if the last attack was stronger and they were more defended or whatever... neway, thanks again Ezran
