Clear and honest. Some of it brutaly honest and somewhat alarming to me, especialy the Group Terrain SEA deal. I don't expect answeres but some clearification on some of it would realy help me understand what they're goal is with us. It's already clear to me just from ingame experience alone that nearly over half of our abilities and mods are of no real benifit, but I'l keep my anger under controle.
I know that our actual skills and passive mods are more important, but selfishly, I'd like to hear what the future holds for our CA's and AA's. I put together my guilds uniform with sockets o'pleanty just waiting to load it up.

Group terrain negociation has a use now that riflemen can cover while in a group : having a full group of riflemen crawling fast and covered to snipe their ennemies.

All you need is to find a bunch of riflemen to test it, but if all rifleman have scout 3xxx, they will all have +100 terrain negociation which allow to crawl at the same speed someone walks (and even faster than a master ranger that only have +95 terrain negociation)

........

Ok, ok, quite useless... unless no one in your group has terrain negociation when you wander around dathomir.....

According to all info we have, yes. But to be fair, i assume she got enough of mails and stuff to clear out and we're not top of her priority list. (We never are, anyways...) So, i guess it'll still take a few days, in case we get any comment again.

The sarcastic variant of my answer i prefer to skip, it's not Friday... *grin*

One thing to add to the list.. The VolleyFire targeting reticle, I think it's not related to the Particle effect slider. I think it's bugged, and the particle effect isn't even starting until after the volley fire has expired.

I did some testing a few days ago, and stuck a volleyfire on a stormtrooper. Sure enough, "You have called for a volley of fire!" appeared in my combat log. Sure enough, I went from ~900 damage per shot, to just over 1000 damage per shot. Right as I returned to 900damage per shot, the targeting reticle appeared.

This doesn't sound familiar. I use volley fire on a very regular basis (since my guild has several young members and i have to tank, i currently take advantage of the high ratio of agro gained with volley fire)and while i notice that it takes about 3 seconds till the mark is visible, it otherwhise seems to work fine. (I just don't know if the delay is a lag issue or if it's because it's "fading in" on the target.)

Squad Leader XP

...

Squad Leaders should earn XP by leading groups, and we would like our distinctive group-based XP restored. Saving that, perhaps one line each of Pistol, Rifle, and Carbine XP - just like the hybrid Bounty Hunter profession - or alternately reduce the XP costs for the three Pistol XP lines by a factor of ten and then use Combat XP instead. The former will not mollify the melee crew, but the latter should.

....

While the combat experience idea might be the only way to work this so that any combat profession (melee included) can work towards Squad Leader without having to drastically alter their desired template, you still run into the same problem that you stated in your opening paragraph...

"As it stands now, one can master Squad Leader without ever having led a group."

I am very much in favor of returning Squad Leader experience to it's own unique type, although the means by which it was earned (and what actions constitute a gain in this experience) need to be looked at.

No, they are either on vacation, nerfing some profession or 'eating popcorn'

Kinda sad that we SL's aren't even worth it to the group anymore. Rally is worthless, only lasting 10 or less seconds, Aim or whatever last one shot. Makes you wonder if anyone does this for a reason besides gettingaholo-prof.

Well Rally lasts 30 seconds for me, and Holo-prof was grinding out professions cause a holocron said to.
