I'm not threatening to quit the game, however I am seriously tempted to quit the profession. It's worthless and they've given Combat Medic (already a VERY powerful profession that is MUCH easier to achieve) basically everything that we've asked for. (Terrain Negotiation and Mind Heal)

I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the way that the Squad Leader profession has been treated. We are a COMBAT Hybrid, and should be treated as such. Combat Medic is a MEDIC Hybrid. Devs, if you care about the game as much as we doand as much as you claim, PLEASE fix our profession. "Help us Thunderheart Kenobi, you're our only hope!!"

I picked Squad Leader because I found that I was already on the path to it with my aspirations for Smuggler (couldn't get there because I wanted to be more "well rounded" than Smuggler required--I didn't have any interest in Brawler). But Squad Leader is using all the skillpoints that could otherwise be used to improve my combat effectiveness and paying me off with..../Sysgroup?!? I could easily drop Scout altogether and become a Combat Medic and receive all the things I have Scout for and actually get the benefit of being able to support a group with distance heals and poisons!

I play MMORPGs because I would rather play with people than AI. I play SWG because I loveStar Wars. I took the Squad Leader path because I wanted to be valuable in a group of PEOPLE. For the past few months, I have been completely let down by this profession.

Only if they fix us like they fixed Commando.... Which honestly they really should. A Squad Leader + well balanced team should be able to make a Commando wish his Heavy Weapons were a bit lighter...
