thanks for the kind words of encouragement, drum. but i have to take a slight exception to the highlighted comment.

we were a community that already loved being a SL long before the revamp announcement. this forum was once a great community filled only w/ SL's helping other SL's with our meager skills. now our threads have been hijacked by a bunch of....well, you know where i'm going with this. my hope is that those people will leave us alone (except forwell wishers from other professions, such as yourself)

thanks for stopping over. have a beer (I stole some more from the smugglers...*shhh*)

Yeah this is quite a frustration to me, I was all for the pre-emptive nerfing listening to people's test results on TC, but it seems to have already been toned down nicely since then and in live we are definately not overpowered. However the nerf calls still seem to be coming

And if you read the nerf calls, you'll find that 80% of them quite clearly took no 30 seconds to read the forum here but rather went on to complain, based on the "facts" they all obviously have experienced, despite the stuff they suffered from was already fixed on TC before the revamp hit live.

Almost seems like some people are playing on live with pre-fix TC versions because i consider it absolutely unlikely that a Jedi or BH would not thoroughly confirm the facts or would, god beware, even dare to lie and make up stories here...

haha well you've got commando's signing for sure after looking at our new skills (renamed overcharge shots, basaically... overkill shot = adv critical shot that takes a minute to cool-down, and demolition shot... not muchgood against droids so only useful on turrets or lairs...) so i thought id see how its been treating you guys... sounds as if you got some bad points along with the good... now lets just hope its not another 2 years of jedi fixes before we get fully sorted but if you do end up nerfed, im gonna have to hide my flamethrower before some clever jedi decides the aoe is overpowered... and we all end up where we were again

bahhhhhhhh, im glad that you guys finally have something that works, unfortunately people are using this as an iwin button. i do not want sl's new found glory to be nerfed. what i would like is for that new found glory to disappear when a bh engages a jedi or vice versa. it shouldnt work on either side. this would avoid the nerfcalls. unfortunately it wont work like that. the devs would just nerf your awesome and well deserved skills rather than fix the bh/jedi tef/relations.

Yeah, we got alot of visiters from the Smuggler, Commando, and Ranger communities... they usually brought offerings of food and drinks.

Well not being a sl for very long (to be honest I seen the changes coming and knew it was going to be awsome, and grinded for three days to master sl. Because i knew it was going to get harder to get after the pub) I have found many jedi that appreiciate our abilities when it comes to the dant grind. A MSL friend of mine and I go and hunt on dant together with jedi's and we can cut through entire mounds in moments. So don't think that we are getting nerfed by all jedi's. It's only those few that get hit by bh's all the time. As a matter of fact it only helps the jedi's when grinding to ensure they are safer. I say it makes things balanced except when a bh/sl/rf alpha shot, it is very hard to pull off.

I am very happy to be a sl I hope they don't mess this up.
