Positive: Cool-down Timer on Individual Buffs is a minute or two shorter then the actual Buff duration. This prevents an SL from buffing alot of people at once.

Negative: Cool-down Timer on Individual Buffs is many minutes. If the situation changes, and you need to change the Individual buff or who it is active on, there is a good chance you can't.

Instead of the current system, where an SL can only apply one within a given ammount of time, i would prefer a different approach. (Btw, despite the cooldown being over, i was unable to apply another individual buff until the first buff finished.

When i tried to apply the buff, it was marked as "scheduled for execution" but didn't trigger while the old buff still was active, further testing has to be done to find out if this was intentional or if something just got stuck for whatever reason.)

My personall preference would be that those buffs have a short cooldown and can be given to any group member (as already reported, currently it works on everybody except the SL himself, group leadership is not necessary) but any older individual buff on a group member is removed when a new one is applied.

I hope that i manage to meet some of you on TC over the weekend so we can do some serious testing.

I don't understand why the SL can't buff himself?

and also I don't like the sounds off this long cool down timer thing, it defeats the entire purpose, these buffs are meant to be used by the SL as necessary due to the combat situations, in this system the SL can't buff as per the situation, but has to plan ahead and cannot adjust to circumstances which is not what the profession is meant to be about. What I suggest is something like with the jedi skills, force run or cloak, you turn on the buff on someone and it stays there until you either turn it off, or until they leave the group

SL can buff himself with the group buffs but not with the individual buffs. They do need to make the individual buffs better, too long of a cooldown, perhaps it should be 1-2 minutes but no more then that.

I'd like to be able to buff myself with the "personal" buffs...hate always getting aggroed in a hunting group, then having to kite in a 30m circle so the melee'ers can hit the mob

I think these buffs should not be able to be applied on ourselves. That isn't stopping another SL from buffing you though. Remember Grozzer, you'll more then likely be grouped with me a lot so i'll just buff ya.

I think the Individual Buffs are great as they stand. At master they are 10 min on with 10 min Downtime. I think of these as a "pep-talk" before the battle type thing. Have to decide on what role each person will play and base your one buff based on this.

I also agree that these should NOT be able to be placed on the SL himself.

I would like to see numbers on the icon indicating exactly how well they are helping.

Dont understand why there have to be so many limitations on these buffs. Plenty of other classes in other games buff just fine, even betterand are considered balanced. Looking at the expected damage differences buffed and unbuffed that some guy posted here I really dont see the reason for all the rules/technicalities. Why not AOE buffs? Or pulsing AOE abilities that are always on? now theres something to get excited about. These are just regular buffs, and gimpy at that considering all the range and time limitations everyone is discussing here. And you might have to be the group leader too??? C'mon maybe one juicy MSL ability needs to have the group leader pre-req, but not all.

So sad to see this go out the window. Guess it's back to WOW for me.

Sorry to ask, but how much of the stuff around did you read before you wrote this?

Check out the test results... when i apply all i can (without exploiting the multi-group-buff bug) i can give one person in team a massive +212% of damage output while the rest of the team still operates at (only??? ) +187% damage output.

Tell me any profession which can compete with this and tell me that you consider this damage output to be balanced. And don't forget, buy using the bug mentioned above, i can even increase damage output a good deal more while at the same time reducing incomming damage by aprox. 19%. Anyways, even without abusing the bug, a group of SL dabblers can provide the full selection of group buffs.

Would you like to compete with such a setup on the battlefield? Are you really still convinced that this is balanced, if everybody in your opposing team is doingaproximately three times the usual damage?

Since I am Master BH, Master Pistoleer and Squadleader 0404, I have to ask this question. Will I be able to Individualy buff my droid which I use in attacking jedi ?

And will this revamp change the melee/ranged defence/accuracy/speed bonus in the S. Leader tree ?

Or will only the specials change ?

Will large groups with SLs be able to run around in groups with huge buffs, killing jedi as easy as clapping hands ? I know that only the BH with the mission can attack the jedi, but he will benefit greatly by the individual/group buffs from the other team members.

Yes SLs get a huge boost to their stats and it is very similar to the BH stats, at MSL you get these benefits: 30 General Ranged Speed, 50 General Ranged accuracy, 90 Melee Def and 85 Ranged Def

and about the BH Vs Jedi thing, I don't think it is much of an issue with the CM perma snare - no jedi stands a chance anyway
