I can't believe it's been a almost a year (August 28th, 2004) since I started playing and working my way to this profession and just a few months after I became Master Squad Leader. My how this game has changed. I had wished that I could've been with you all sooner and probably should've looked you up since this is what I have been wanting to go to from the beginning. But, I am happy to say that I will be with you all much longer. I enjoy the profession and I enjoy this forum and I hope that each one of you share the same thing I do when I think of this profession regardless of it's state. Surprisingly enough, I have never stumbled once when working towards this profession, I have always wanted it and will always want it (until they really nerf us, even then I'll try and find a way to make it work.) And now, if I can get together some people to help me finish what I began, then I feel I can move on to bigger and better things with this game. Cheers and thanks for all the advice I've picked and learned from you all.

Yes, I am late. I have read the post, but just haven't gotten to this one yet, but yeah, I looked through the strategy guide the friend who got me into the game had and since it was closest to pilot is the initial reason I chose the profession, but once I hit novice it didn't really change since I read all I could about SL's but I too haven't looked back. And never will. Especially after this whole thing with us being the least played profession. I will bear my MSL tag with honor and respect.

i've never taken mine off. from the moment i got Novice Squad Leader all the way to Master, ive relished in the title. yes, Commisar or Field Commander is cool, but Mastering Squad Leader is Mastering Squad Leader. anyone that gets xxx4 can be a Tactician, but only the truly dedicated can wear the Master badge!

Well here's what I've come up with. One of the SL weapons. There's 6 to chose from though. I think I've narrowed it down though. The Intimidator and E5 are craftable, so you can always get more. The Red Hydra Z-5 and Exemplar's Mark are lootable, so you can get more, just takes time, the Dawnsorrow is lootable but takes even more time than the Exemplar's Mark and Red Hydra. Thus leaves the Tchotchee Pistol which is a quest reward and unless you make an alt in any way shape or form, you're going to be paying out the ear for a replacement.

Based on the Weaponsmith Caps thread, I'd guess 1063.75 Max Damage, 1.95 Min Speed, and 72 SAC being the E5 maxes. E5 has some blanks, but I've noticed and had it confirmed by a WS that most CL 54 items of the same category have the same maxes, so I feel confident in that guess.

See the link in my sig. Already found it. Hence why I said that.

Now I'm down to narrowing down between 3 or 4 Intimidators and haven't checked my E5's yet, had to go to work on my only day off this week....*tries to keep in an civil mood* Anyways, I'll add your info to the thread.

Well, so much for Talley's b-day getting things done. Was going to Master Pilot today, but work screwed that up. Guess I'll have to wait for an actual day off before I can. No days off this week, so it'll be..."whenever" and that's the thing that frustrates me the most. Anyways, I'm glad I've got at least a hidden toon only I think one person knows about and not one that I've actually seen in game either. lol He's never on when I am. Ah well, no biggy.
