I was at the labor outpost on Yavin 4, max 2 other people there.
I was running a retreat macro with a 10 sec timer, as I was playing on my other comp i only saw when my SL went offline.
I logged him back in and got a tell from a CSR, asking me not to spam more often then 60 secs- I explained that I'm a SL and I was using my SL skills, he then asked me to move to a less populated or uninhabited area.
What's the word on SL commands, can they only be used when noone is around but the members of your group is around or what is going on?

Yes.
SOE supports SL bots.
Sad but true...
Kinda besides the point, yes it's ok to use a SL bot.
But why am I getting kicked while playing my profession?

spamming /formup is an exploit. Causes too many messages in the spatial at one time. Do a search in this forum and you will see posts on this topic (probably why noone responded). However SL bots that spam /formup are not kicked out of the game because they are usually nowhere near other people, therefore people don't notice the spam so no getting kciked out of the game..
Simply put:
Spam /formup at the battle scene in the thick of things = bad
Spam /formup in a guild hall, away from battle, 500m away from anyone= good

both commands cause a spatial message. Its not the command that is the problem, its the spatial message that is.

I don't see why they would say that is an exploit. Everytime we use our specials we shout something, if CSRs are advising that you stop, I would ask that the other people in the area not be allowed to spam their specials. The one thing I've learned is that what CSRs say isn't necessarily what the Devs feel the game should be.
To the original poster, if a CSR says that, ask to speak to a manager immediately.

The reason to spam them is because
/retreat makes you group run faster. Good for catching up to kiters or escapingrange on a posture down. It lasts for a short period of time
/formup clears dizzy and stun and if you spam that it would only be a few seconds at anypoint that anyone in your group would have either of those states
/steadyaim increases the ranged accuracy for the next shot
etc etc. The point is that you help everyone in your group be better.

No way..you've got to be kidding me...those things do that?????
Anyways...I know that...but why are they spamming it inside cities or just outside the borders....they never mentioned anything about being in combat at the time.

People have just started ignoring me I spam 3 things in spatial every 30 seconds. Id gladly let them take out the spatial yap. I dont want the enemies to know what I am let the little idiots figure it out on there own. I mean there is already a system message saying your Squad Leader orders blah blah strengthinig your ocmbat resolve. As for kicking thats just crap itss your creation why not back it up if spatial bugs you then hafve you ever been near theed or coronet people jsut do it to ruin anothr playres game play. Ive had MSL for I guess 7-8 months now and Ive been fortunate enough to never get yapped at about it.
