I think Fort Tusken may be a good place, or becoming the leader of the cantina band in Coronet or Theed is a good idea. Any input would be appreciated.

Fort Tusken is probably a good bet. I ground out most of my SL XP last fall in the force crystal cave on Dantooine. I could hit my 900K cap in around half an hour with a 20-man group, and folks were easy to find.I don't know if the caves are still that popular, but Fort Tusken is usually pretty busy on Bria. I'm not sure if you were joking about this part, but leading a cantina band wont get you anywhere since SL XP is based off of the combat XP pulled in by the group.

Also, the Geonosian cave is great because of the high spawn rates.

Ft. Tusken without a doubt I mastered it in under 3 days, playing under3 hours a day there.

Thanks for the input. I guess i'll go to the geonosian caves or fort tusken. The crystal caves aren't that popular, at least on my server, and not as much as fort tusken, from what I've seen. There was no one there one day and I waited for half an hour, still no one came.

Just get the biggest group of people you can and get everyone to get 26k+ missions and you'll be good in no time... especially if you have a MSL there to train you... I've hit my SL cap in 15 minutes before... yay for enraged rancors on Dathomir... =)

i mastered in under 2 days and basically i went to the singing sister place where all those people were exploiting and i told them to invite me into the group, then i sat there while they killed making like 40k per kill. That exploit is gone of course but basically any big hunting ground all you have to do is be like hey let me lead your group i need SL xp and they will let you, just some advice is to not get in their way or steal their kills or loot obviously because they are doing you a huge favor. Get a 20 person group killing stuff and you could master in no time. If you are on starsider and you need training send me a tell i need ap my name is in my signature

You wouldn't happen to be Quitch(y) from the Total Annihilation community? I've never seen anyone else use that nickname.

No, sorry. Its a name that I have of a character I have in Intrepid I have barely used.

I helped a very good friend of mine go from Novice to Master in a little under 4 hours in the first room of the Geonosian Cave tonight, merely fighting Crazed Geonosians and the occasional enhanced kwi / alert droideka.
Average group size was around 9 people . . . we started off slow with only 6 people and a few pets (one of us was grinding CH), but we slowly built up the group to around 14 by the end, simply by invitingnon-grouped people who came in. He was averaging 22K SL XP per kill by the end. XP was good for everyone, actually. At one point we had a group up top fighting the Crazed Geonosians and another group that went and camped the mercenary room. He was getting XP from both groups.
The key, really, is to have a large group (I'd suggest at least 8-9) and fight decently high-level creatures and NPCs. The XP will slowly and surely take care of itself.

the most time consuming part about mastering squad leader, once you get a good group going, is traveling/finding someone to train you. if you can somehow get a master SL to come with you, you'll cut your grind time down by more than half (again, assuming you get a good group going).

Go hunt some rancors with a big group, heard you get excellent XP from that.

Death Watch Bunker is an awesome place to grind out SL. I hot the cap of 900k there in about 10 minutes, for about 100k from a Super Battle Droid
*CAUTION* Get a good group before attempting to enter
