as far as I can tell it does work on anything that shoots. great for use with faction NPCs It is basically a group aim that you pay for and the rest of the group does not seem to suffer for a normal Aim cycle.

type /setsteadyaim and then the message you wish to yell when using the command, then set your Icon from the Other group when you hit ctrl + A it's not in the Combat group

it works every time and drain only mind points, the larger the group the more it drains, but seems to be a minimum of 200 pts. I drain an avg or 252 pts. hope that helps

Hi all, I'm new to the profession and this is the first ability I've got (yesterday). I tried it today but I don't seem to understand how it works. There is no icon showing up or anything. I would like to know, if possibile:

1) how long does the bonus last ?

2) what is exactly this bonus ?

3) does it actually work ?

I found only 1 post speaking about this ability and very much in general... I seem to understand that it's like a normal aim action applied to all members of the party, am I right ? (I'm pretty much disappointed by it)

An answer would be appreciated thanks.

This skill will only really help a commando due their point blank range requirement for their heavy weapons.

The other professions are too accurate.

Swordsman nor Pikeman have any acuracy at all. We always have -46 or above in our attacks. SO, yes it is helpfull

It only works everyone's next attack, I believe. I think the HAM cost scales depending on the amount of group members you have.I used it once when I had about 15 people in my group and POW!, the mind went down hard.

Noone here knows exactly how Steady Aim works.

I asked this question last week and the best answer anyone can give is that it does make a pretty big difference for very low accuracy weapons.

Beyond that, this subject hasn't been "covered" at all, and a search for answerson any bulletin boardwill avail you little more than Jack and carapa, and it looks likeJack left town.

If a dev isn't gonna respond regarding this skill, we're all in the dark about it. It sure as heck doesn't show you what it does in-game

It has been covered by the people who have used it enough or set up test situtions and replied to your thread, this thread, or the others that are in the forums.

Oh sure, and the meaning of life has been covered on this bulletin board dozens of times, I just don't feel like posting a link.

Alright Homer, since you seem to know everything, we wanna know:

1)what it does for weapons that don't have crap accuracy. How much of a bonus? What are the modifiers?

2) How long it lasts.

If your next post doesn't contain specific answers with links to accurate tests, then I'm afraid you're full of carapa my friend.
