CU Update...
The most intersting things inside that for me were:
Yes we definitly need that!
I do remember some one with a red name mentioning to try to increase the range but obvioulsy they did succeded
What to do with that?
The new Prof ablitlies will have to show that.
If I right now would get back those skill points I would go for Master Marksmann =) ...

Next week, I’ll have a development diary set up, where you can see what happens on a daily basis. The diary will let you in on what changes we make, what feedback you give, and what the daily work on Combat Upgrade actually is. W

Combat Range
* The maximum range for basic combat attacks will be 64 meters.

* Squad Leader = Marksman Ranged Support Tree (4 boxes), Scout Survival Tree (4 boxes)

With the teaser released, there must be some kind of relaxation in the NDA, I know Stern, the commando correspondent, has been answering questions off the hook about the CU. Is there anything that we can get from irott? It'd be nice to know some more about where SL stands in the CU

In terms of the 64m range, note that it says basic combat attacks, you never know if they might make special attacks have additional range on them.

Sorry... I have been out of town.
I didn't even know Blair posted that doc.
Let me tell you that that is nothing... NOTHING. ^_^
Also, we have been fighting to change the prereq from survival to exploration...
If you think about it, it makes sense with our terrain neg passive boosts and retreat.
So... whadda wanna know?

are you kidding? we wanna know specifics about anything SL related. We want to know how far along our revamp is and how much is already set in stone. We want to know what their take on our profession is. Do we have mostly passive abilities? active abilities? a nice balance of each? how useful are the abilities? How different does the profession look compared to what it used to look like? What abiliies/trees are going away? What new abilities/trees are we getting?

Question: I need to be clear on this, perhaps none of you know for sure but will we get the 1K health bonus in squad leader (as 3K health total with double combat mastery)? Hope my current Radiant template will still withhold skillpoint, as well as considering commando/SL on Tarquinas.

I believe that is NDA at the moment... but to make a few guesses, yes you will have 3K HAM with a master squad leader - we are a combat prof. Secondly, I don't think it'll be +1000 for being a Master Elite Prof, did you see that mentioned someone specific? I'm guessing it'll be each combat skill box will have a certain value assigned to it, the various boxes will probably be weighed differently based on where in thecombat tree it is (1st box vs 4th box of a line vs novicevs master) and if it is a novice profession or elite profession. That way the progression will be gradual, and if you takea mix of 3 or 4 elite prof without mastering any, you'll still be viable. Of course, this is all just my own twisted guess, but now that it's been brought up and discussed by those outside the NDA, *maybe* we'll given the NDA people a loophole to answer?
