Thread: last ditch VS Torso shot(bh pistols 4)

I just want a opinion which one would be better, bh pistols 4 with 10 acc and 10 speed or Last ditch with feign death. I was a smuggler a long time ago, i don't remember how hard it hits.

Torso shot:
2.3x delay
3.0x damage
Fire DOT
Last Ditch:
4x delay
6x damage
75% chance to stun
Both are extremely useful but for different situations. Expert BH is a better pistol user but Smuggler generally has better specials. I favor smuggler myself.

heck do what i did get em both.
master smuggler BH 0/0/4/0 pistoleer 0/0/4/3 and the cool thing about torso is the dot kills in time unlike health shot or bleed shot at least against NPCs

Egowyn -- do youpvp much? I was thinking about picking up that exact same template and was wondering how well it worked in pvp.

I have the template:
Fencer 4400 / TKA 4304 / Smugg 0040 / Master Pistoleer / Novice Medic
Only issue is... 74 Pistol spd... SO you have to get tapes. (with tapes im current;y 99, all I need)
I use Lowblow and Last ditch on people with crazy spd and keep them on their behind most of the time.
And as for vs Jedi. Using my 700dmg DE10 with Last Ditch is absolutely Crazy.

That is my template.
I have more accuracy then a master pistoleer, I hit harder, and I fire faster.
P.S. Torso Shot and Healthshot 2 stack to do +1k a tick, plus wounds, very useful.

BH Pistol Specials completely OWN Smuggler Pistol Specials.
Panic Shot is now useless
Low Blow works great
Last Ditch is a Random HAM hitter which really sucks in my opinion beacuse of that one fact

Torso Shot - Fire DOT!
Eye Shot - Mind Specific Pistol Attack
Pick up BH pistols. The specials are better and they actually give pistol mods.

Low Blow is indispensable - the only Pistol KD in the game.
BH Pistols 2 is good because it puts a master pistoleer at the speed cap and gives you Eye Shot and Bleeding Shot.
Going beyond either point is a matter of personal preference - some like to do both (as I did for a while).
Spamming Last Ditch at the speed cap is nice but won't happen without BH Pistol 2 or more. Using Torso Shot is nice but a burning target (like a bleeding one) gives you less XP in the end.
So perhaps you can try a little of both, see what works best for you and go from there.

I am currently BH 0040 smuggler 0020 and pistols 0124. Seeing all these posts i am going
BH0040
Smuggler 0030
master pistols
novice medic
that's 250 skills(or like 249 or some **edit**)
thanks for your opinions, but i am thinking i will try out last ditch for a while, i can get 450k exp pretty quick

In my opinion, Master Pistoleer is only good for the title.
I live without medic now... I never thought I could do it, but having Feigndeath as my backup, I manage just fine.
Living without last ditch is something I couldn't do... but also living woutout torsoshot now may be difficult...

no need for medic when you can feign death

Remember one thing about feign death... you still take the next hit. If that hit would kill you, you ain't gonna be faking it.
Personally, I've got Feign Death, Force of Will and the Mark of The Hero... I don't tend to stay down.

My brother acc is a master bh and master pistols. I shoot just as fast as him with pistols 0234 pistols and bh 0040. So i am changing once again(and decided to say screw last ditch becuase its a random ham hitter)

For when i get those nasty disease when i raid a town or something. I think it will be a blast, only prob is that i have mastered all of the skill i am dabling in.
