Thread: Please Someone HELP..... Does anyone care???

Ok - Does anyone truly care about us in this game or are we being ingored on purposed inorder to show no player complaints on the profit end of this company? If there is someone back there behind the curtains of OZ, it is really time to fess up and do something about it. New content is not the answer - JTL is nice and all but new content only brings new buggs and problems, and makes us look away from the truth. This game is majorly broke and SOE doesn't "see it". Why are you guys purposely treating us bad? What did I do to you to desreve this, I have been a faithful player since July 03. I have even helped bring in other people to this game that normally wouldn't play this but they are starting to leave in hordes and it is not because the game isn't cool but because it is so broke and no -one listens to them when they are having problems.
Why can't we get the same type of service the other on-line games are giving? I don't play WoW but my best Friend does and when the Servers went down last weekend due to over-population, the compnay running WoW giveALL (see that, ALL)their people 3 months free, I'm never going to play WoW myself but if the other MMORPG compnaies are added fixes and extra stuff at the time it is needed AND listening to their customers then maybe, just maybe, SWG/SOE should do the same thing. SWG/SOE doesn't listen to us the best testers of the game, won't even go out of their way to show even some little bit of trying, and they don't even hire qualified personel to work their phone and chat lines to help us. It took me going thru 10 people/tries, for over 1hr,on the lone distance phone (NOT a 1800 #) before I could actually trouble shoot my system properly.
PLEASE SWG/SOE HELP US, ...PLEASE SHOW US YOU CARE ABOUT US AND NOT A PAYCHECK OF 15$ PER PERSON

First off, you are wrong about what Blizzard gave its customers with the server problems. They added a day to the free subscription to everybody, not 3 months. Now granted that was a nice jesture, but that game has its flaws too. I do not mean to flame, but it irks me when people give out bad information. Now back to what this forum is really for, talking about the wonderful world of smuggler.

your wrong, they nerfed us a while back, now we have to take tools from crates :/ Come on! When we are bulk slicing we dont like having to do 10 at a time because we need the same number of knives, clamps and upgrade kits. Smugglers gets no love

OK - Master Smuggler here and I have to disagree - I cannot count the number of times I have been fu*ked by the Devs

This is a business and like all other large businesses no matter what they say, they care about the money. If they didn't care about the money and did it for the customer, it would be a non profit. SOE sees it, but when you havetens ofthousands of players andmany idiots with conflicting views it is very very hard to know what the players want, and what's best for the game. As far as what deserve, you deserve the game time you buy from the company, nothing more nothing less. They don't owe you anything else, and thinking so is foolish.

It is always a bad idea to say things that are obviously wrong, such as WoW giving all their people 3 months free. Your friend lied to you, and it is an incredibly stupid lie which no one whos reasonably intelligent would believe if they thought it through. SWG does add fixes, not sure what "extra stuff" is. And as far as listening to customers, SWG does that is why the correspondents exist. But it is a slow process because of the 1000s of idiots that exist in swg, who want short term harmful things done to the game.

I have had only positive experiences with SOE reps, I think the key to getting good response is not starting off the contact by being rude/annoying and acting mature. Don't make threats about quiting or say things like "i know no one will help me" when asking your question. Also be patient and don't be emotional about it. It is a game and if you send an angry message to a CSR/SOE rep it probably needs your to attached to the game and need a break.CSRs aren't gods and they cannot do whatever they want, I have no idea where peopleget this idea.Sometimes all they can give is a canned response or can't replace items,because they have to listen to higher ups. For every CSR whos an idiot, there are 1000s of idiot customers they must deal with. Finding good CSRs is hard because truthfully, the job sucks. Would you want to spend all day talking to people about their problems, and have them make stupid requests/threats which you have no way of dealing with?

It is a business, thinking they care about the consumer beyond the money is foolish. Not to say they would do horrible things to the consumer, but the point of the business is to make money. It is not to make other people happy, or it would be a charity.
