Hehe, this was one of my crowning achievements, at least, I think. The other Looking to Buy thread in the pilot forum sparked a bit of a debate, and the following resulted(my last post in it).
Its not that we want things handed to us on a platter, its that we want what we paid for.
Lets say you go into a car dealership, look at a Mustang on display. Its got power windows, locks, AF/FM CD, five speed, and all the bells & whistles. You then pay what's listed on the window, and the dealer rolls out a Ford Escort and gives you the keys to it, then disappears, occasionally mentioning to put a radio in it for you, or some such. What would you do then?
